All NBA players complied with Party political requirements save for one:

Jonathan Isaac responds after being the lone NBA player to stand for National Anthem - CNN

Last night, every NBA player who restarted the league's 2020 season kneeled during the National Anthem while wearing "Black Lives Matter" shirts.

Orlando Magic forward Jonathan Isaac became the first NBA player to stand for the National Anthem as the league resumed play after a 20-week hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic.

...seeming to be intentional about *not* wearing a Black Lives Matter shirt.... I dunno, man...

The players were required to wear an official Party shirt and kneel for the anthem. A lone dissident, identified by the Party as "Jonathan Isaac", did not wear the required shirt.

He also remained standing for the national anthem of the former United States of America.

Hopefully this dissenter is held up as example. Perhaps a re-education camp? I'd say it's fitting given the overt disobedience to the Party.

We’re you as supportive of those NFL dissenters who kneeled during the national anthem?

My personal feelings are irrelevant. The article's message, CNN being an official Party source, views Isaac as the dissenter. This is mostly based on his refusal to wear a BLM shirt. We've advanced from the NFL days seeing that an entire sports organization is now on board with BLM and the disruption of the Western-prescribed nuclear family requirement.

For the time being, I'm allowed to 'not wear' a BLM shirt in public or at work. In addition, WalMart, Target and grocery stores currently do not require a BLM shirt for entry.

I'll continue to dissent and 'not wear' a BLM shirt for as long as possible. However, once a certain percentage of the population starts wearing them (perhaps 30%), I'll certainly comply with Party regulations.

So, everybody's a dissenter now?

if you don't like it, don't watch sportsball.

Black lives matter unless they stand for the national anthem ;)

I hope nothing happens with this. Former and current NBA players and the commissioner said that no one would be vilified for their choice to stand or kneel for the anthem. I would hope as an inclusive league that the same follows for what people choose to wear. CNN is not really the platform I would look to for a response; I will wait to see what the NBA family says as this progresses.

Your disingenuousness is glaring.

Your personal feelings about the issue are clearly displayed throughout your post.

Agreed. I read the article, and all the article did was report on Mr. Isaac being an outlier and then the response seen on Twitter. I did not see any opinions expressed by the journalists. Nowhere did CNN journalists try to label Isaac as a dissenter for his decision to stand and wear his game uniform. There is also a quote from the Magic's management that contrasts with the Twitter response.

I gave always believed that Blacks cant be racist. I admit now that I was wrong, and this is evidence of it.

I disagree. This was a religious decision. I always felt like the ostracization of Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf for his religious choices regarding the anthem were a bit harsh in the 1990s.

As usual, you miss the point.

No, I got the point, but as usual, you can't challenge my argument. Unless, of course, you can explain how millionaires in this country have been oppressed. Do you have the balls to take on that task? You don't. Do you?

If you got the point, you wouldn’t have posted the above.
