There is no evidence Yoho called her any such name. He said it never happened.

All Cortez does is scream "I'm a victim" whenever somebody confronts her. That takes no courage at all. She's a pawn, a hired actress who is told what to say and how to react by her Marxist handlers. This is why they keep her away from debates or interviews by a non leftwing journalist. As we have observed numerous times, when she goes off-script, when she starts believing the Soros-funded reports that she's a genius, that's when she gets into trouble by saying stupid things.

AOC is the perfect storm of things conservatives hate. A hispanic, educated, empowered female that puts the well-being and growth of her constituents over corporate interests. The amount of pure, unadulterated hate directed at a junior, first term congresswoman is absolutely astounding. They're threatened by her so they lash out.

So all we have is an allegation and Cortez doing the best "I'm a victim" performance that she can manage.

For ****s sake, if this woman was any more thin skinned. You'd be able to see her insides with just a black light.

AOC waxed poetic about being a victim (again). I'd like to hear a speech HALF as impassioned, about the children being shot to death in her city.
Instead, what moves her emotionally is her own sense of victimhood.
Sack up, lady. Children are DYING from bullets under your watch!
A father was shot to death while holding his little baby daughter's hand, just crossing the street!
Was her speech about that something to write about? Oh, wait...did she even tweet about it?

There was at least one other witness to the exchange - the reporter who wrote the story.

There was one witness to Joe Bidens sexual assault. Where is her soeech on that? Isn't she for women?

Either you never watched her speech, or English is not your first language. Anyone who can comprehend what she said would recognize that she refused to be a victim. If you're looking for thin skinned, you can't overlook the raw nerve in the White House. He lashes out at even imaginary slights.

He also took the House floor to apologize. This was before Cortez said a public word about it. The evidence is in The Hill, the publication that first reported the incident by the reporter who overheard the slur. Cortez was letting the episode go until Yoho brought it up himself in his "apology", in which he told the House that he apologized for Cortez "misunderstanding" him. He apologized for her mistake, in other words. Then he spoke about himself as a loving family man with two daughters (one of whom is older than Cortez). The "apology", so called, would have been too much for anyone to take other than as a pathetic insult, and Alexandria declined to take it. The result is incredibly impressive.

No, but there are numerous people who can attest to the victim's contemporaneous and consistent statements reporting the sexual assault.
That puts her head and shoulders above Dr. Blasey Ford's accusation.

C-SPAN archives will not go away, not even in front of a tsunami of feeble revisionists. And your objection to AOC is not that she was a victim in this case, but, quite the contrary, refused to be a victim. Yoho thought he put her in her place. While we're on the subject, please provide a link that proves there are reports of her being a genius that are funded by George Soros.
 
If AOC had REAL courage and a modicum of smarts, she would have turned that into an opportunity to stand in front of her peers and opine about our great and unparalleled first amendment right to free speech.
But predictably, being the opportunistic grifter she is and will always be, she pouted and whined about "sexism". Made is about identity politics, which is her wheelhouse.

Are you telling us you have "half a brain"? Anyway, every person with a full brain and one that isn't swamped in Trump love, whether they like her politics or not, should be able to appreciate that extraordinary performance in the House.

If you're going to respond to me, start by not dodging what I wrote. It's clear to anyone who watched her speech that in this instance, she REFUSED to be the victim - so your post stands corrected. And nobody who supports Trump can complain about anybody else being thin skinned. It's among his most defining features.

Actually, it was because he brought it up first by taking the House floor to make a fake apology that only compounded the insult. He portrayed himself as the victim.

The poster in question lies as easily as breathing, defends the lies, posts absurd conspiracy nonsense (e.g his obsession with Soros), and never links to anything he is challenged on, so I suggest any response to him is going to be as productive as pissing into the wind.

I appreciate the heads-up. I've yet to learn when and where my energies are better spent on this board. But my reflex is always to correct the record. Perhaps I'll just have to learn to put them in their place one time, and let any feeble rebuttals just slide.
