Mike Bloomberg is the president we need to bring people together and unite our country. As a self-made man, an entrepreneur and three-term mayor of the biggest city in America, Bloomberg has proved himself to be an effective leader and problem solver.

After the September 11 attacks, he helped New York City recover from the darkest days in its history. He worked with Democrats and Republicans in New York and Washington to secure funding for the city's recovery efforts.
And he didn't just preside over the rebuilding of Lower Manhattan. He created affordable housing, improved education and reduced crime throughout the city.
Perhaps what struck me most about Bloomberg was when he talked about the biggest accomplishment of his first 100 days in office as mayor. He did not start bragging about the initiatives he was undertaking. Instead, he touted the team of capable people he was able to build.

He talked about laying "the basis, the framework," and building the infrastructure, getting "the tools in place" for them to do their work. He understood that a leader who first finds bright, talented people to help solve big problems is on the road toward accomplishing great things.

By building and empowering a strong team in the White House, Bloomberg intends to fight climate change, make sure all families have access to high-quality and affordable health care, create opportunities for every American to achieve the "American dream" and return our country to a respected leadership role in the world.

Bloomberg is already going toe-to-toe with Trump over the airwaves, through social media, and on the ground. He is building the strongest campaign in the country, with 2,000 field staff spread across 43 states, including every Super Tuesday state.
When he wins, he will owe no favors to anyone, nor will he be beholden to any special interest. He will make sure our government regains the trust of the American people, restores our standing in the world, and helps all Americans lead better and happier lives.

After a lifetime of reporting the news, now is the time for me to stand up as a private citizen and do everything in my power to help defeat Donald Trump and elect Mike Bloomberg the next President of the United States.

Donaldson maybe right. The Democrats do not have many top-notch candidates to choose from. He maybe the best bet.

Bloomberg is Democrat Donald Trump. Any Liberal that wants to vote for Bloomberg are only angry at Trump for saying the quiet racist stuff out loud.

Can't wait to watch this major food fight if Bloomberg looks like he is going to get the democratic nomination! :popcorn2::popcorn2::popcorn2:

If the best bet Dems have is a demonstrable sexist who told a pregnant staff member to kill her child and repeatedly engaged in 'locker room talk' on par with Trump, an unapologetic racist who absurdly thinks the 2007-8 crisis was caused by poor minorities and government programs instead of unregulated private lenders chasing absurd risks and the reckless derivative gambling of Wall Street banks run amok with greed, that unconditional stop and frisk against said minorities is ideal and to be enshrined as policy, ridiculously asserted that "Ninety-five percent of murders, murderers and murder victims are male minorities between 16 to 25", stridently refuses to acknowledge Xi as a dictator and China as the oppressive totalitarian surveillance state it so clearly is, and has essentially no worthwhile qualities or qualifications as a politico save that he has and spent a lot of money, then the party should probably consider forfeiting.

LOL, the old man needs to get in line, because Bernie has him beat.

Some of us have the insane opinion that the next Democratic nominee for President shouldn't be chosen by Never Trump Republicans or "both sides" media personalities.

Who is next? Maybe someone can trot out Larry King to ask him his opinion.

I think it is kind of interesting that Donaldson said he was very careful to be fair and unbiased and retain his journalistic integrity and not donate to any party or even register for one party and yet here in his old age he backs a particular candidate as being the best to beat Trump. Like we didn't know he was for the left in the first place.
