Me and My Sister did kind of a fun game.
We were sitting across from each other, and my Dad and my Aunt were the moderators..
And we were doing like Gender based test, to see which one of us... coming from the exact same socioeconomic background, would be the most qualified...
Just based on the differences of how we lived our lives...
My Sister went first...
She was talking about her work experience, the things that she did, and where she comes from, and so on.
I said exactly this as my response to that.
I understand that she knows what the poor are going though and what women are going through, or so what they say that women are going through.
Which in and of itself, is right off the bat a bad attitude.
We don't have a United States of Poor people, or a United States of Women or a United States of Black people.
We have a United States of America, and you can't Govern America, by Governing one group, unless that group is America.
Period.
Now...
I grew up just as poor, and from the same filthy city..
However, unlike her, I really got the brunt of how bad Philly is.
And I'm a Lot more aggressive, and I'm a lot more inclined to actually fix the problems.
The fact of the matter is, the USA is the richest country in the world, and the people have what they need and more.
Criminals simply belong in Jail and that's it.
She also has some of her facts wrong..
She actually believes that the Puerto Ricans were always the ones picking the fights all the time..
That's right off the bat, plain false.
I only got in a fight two times with a Puerto Rican in my whole life.
The people who actually need their heads split open by the cops more often, are white working class Irish youths between the ages of 15 and 30.
That's precisely the group that continues to get away with their behavior, and while being the most likely to be involved with drugs, and violent crime, and the most likely to not do well in school.
I'm also more qualified than she is when it comes to the environment, and instituting a program to teach natural history.
Unlike her, I worked at the Zoo, and I pay attention to natural science a lot more.
I did a lot more camping than she did, I been out in the woods a lot more and I handled a lot more wild animals than she ever did.
On economic issues...
As a consumer, she only had small, old used cars... and while that may serve her purpose, ok... that is not how economies work.
New Cars keep manufacturers operating, not used ones.
And simply put, vehicles a lot bigger and more powerful than her little 1997 Kia sedan is required to keep our economy strong.
She knows nothing about the automobile Industry.
I fixed tires, brakes, and exhaust systems.
And I know that doing so requires equipment, new equipment and that people make their living operating, manufacturing and repairing that equipment.
And I know when a piece of equipment is too old to function reliably, and so I'm a lot more likely to have equipment replaced.
Unlike her, I also know what the top of the line, of a product line is when I see a product line.
She doesn't pay attention to such detail.
That kind of stuff is what keeps business operating, and keeps people employed and makes our country function.
On Military issues...
LIKE her, I never was in the Military...
But Unlike her, I know a whole lot more about the Military, how it works, and how weapons work than she does.
Military stuff, and military literature, and Military technology companies are things that I constantly pay attention to, and look up.
She never does any of that.
One time I was looking at a picture of an Abrams Tank, an M1A2 and she asked me if that was a Sherman Tank.
And I'm a lot more likely to understand advice given to me by the Generals, and make the most aggressive decisions within his range of options.
And the fact is, we need a Military presence in the world, and we really need to do a whole lot more... and we need to go after the big assholes like Russia, China and North Korea...ok.. and we need to get them off our backs.
I'm tired of them and their threats, and their use of diplomacy to threaten our economic and social standing in the world and to go after our allies.
