NBC News Can’t Confirm O’Donnell’s Bombshell Trump-Russia Report

This is what I get for opening a thread started by adpst. His own ****ing link says O'Donnell revealed this during the very same broadcast in which he broke it, yet he presents it as if NBC separately called out its own reporter:



But closing out the hour, O'Donnell awkwardly returned to the topic and clarified that the network could not confirm his reporting.

"Now, I want to stress, that's a single source. This has not been confirmed by NBC News, I have not seen any documentation from Deutsche Bank that supports this and verifies this," he said. "This is just a single source who has revealed that to me." "And that's where that stands at this point. It's going to need a lot more verification before that can be a confirmable fact," he concluded.

Not only could the bank not confirm the information, the informant never saw any bank statement or record to confirm it. LOL!!! O'Donnell should be fired immediately!!!

O'Donnell is sort of the MSNBC version of Hannity. Maybe the two networks could arrange a mutual culling of herds. O'Donnell goes from MSNBC and Hannity leaves Fox. I would not have a problem with never seeing either one of them ever again.

O'Donell appears to have violated the basic rule that you need two sources on a story to confirm it. I suspect it broke late and he was facing air time and he wanted to make the news instead of just reporting and he made an error in judgement.

That in no way shape or form makes his story false as there is much here still to delve into and report.

You must have gotten your degree from Trump University. Have you donated to the Trump Foundation yet? They can use your money to buy more portraits of Donald Trump. Oh wait, they got shut down for being a scam.

I think it's well established that Trump is a crook. But crooks need suckers and there are plenty of those.
