It's hard to believe it has been thirty years (April 5th, 1994) and twenty two years (April 5th, 2002) since two of my favorite artists passed away. Now that I have a minute on a Sunday night, I figured that I would take a minute to remember them both.

Thanks for the great music and inspiration.

My favorite from the Alice In Chains unplugged show :

They were 'my time' artists. Both terrible losses..
Though Cantrell and Grohl were major 'leaders' of the bands, there was no replacement for the voices and emotion that Layne and Kurt brought.
Sadly, hard drugs were an influence on this..

Aw, great times!

I think my favorite AiC song is “Would.”

My favorite Nirvana song is “All Apologies.”
"Would" was my introduction to Alice in Chains way back in the day. Dirt is on my list of front to back albums. You can just put it on and leave it.
