How pathetic. All this guy does is attack people who make fun of him, why can't he take a joke? He always does the most outlandish stuff and then says he was joking. Double Standards donny? Alec Baldwin hit a nerve? No one is being unfair to you.

You understand the First Amendment works both ways, right? If the media wants to garner huge ratings for continuous mockery of the President, the President has the right to speak back. Seems like a few LWers have called for boycotts of companies that support conservative ideologies; why then is it a shock when a conservative speaks back about boycotting LW media?

If by "retribution" he means criticism -- fine.

If by "retribution" he means legally force them to shut up -- um, no. SNL can make fun of whoever they want, however they want.

GASP??!!! He PUSHED BACK against the most unfunny "comedy show" on TV, which posted its LOWEST RATINGS OF THE YEAR, so far, on Saturday.

It's not a shock. It's pathetic that a 70 year old man cannot take a joke. He's threatened them before and they haven't stopped doing it which means his attacks are empty-threats. SNL has been doing this for over 20+ years for every President. He's not different/special. 15 years ago, Trump was a reality TV star on the same channel that he now hates b/c he's doing a crappy job and he has no say on what they joke about.

SNL is a comedy show that makes fun of everyone. It just so happens that Trump and his admin provide a lot to spoof.

I haven't seen a "joke" on late night TV for a couple of years. Much of what is said borders on outright insult and personal attack. Of course, Trump might be "joking" about retribution, as well. :lol:

I've been watching SNL for more than 20 years, I've never seen the level of animosity and derangement for any other President.


So, fine, I'm not saying the MSM should not express themselves as the wish; that's their right; they just need to understand rights work both ways. Libs haven't been shy calling for boycotts on entities then disagree with - it cuts both ways.

I've been watching SNL almost since the beginning. Their current tone is light years away from the "making fun" tone of the old days. Same for late night talkers - they're an embarrassment to the tradition.

That's exactly b/c of what Trump does on a daily/hourly basis!!!!!!!!! They didn't change their formula and in fact had him on the show.
