AP sources: Trump considers adding '''immigration czar'''

Trump is considering former Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach and former Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli, conservatives with strong immigration views.

WASHINGTON — The Trump administration is considering hiring a "border" or "immigration czar" to coordinate the president's policies across various federal agencies.

That's according to three people familiar with the discussions who spoke to the Associated Press on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss them publicly. NBC News has not independently confirmed the report.

Xenophobes?

Kris Kobach Tackles Illegal Immigration

Kobach is known most widely for his efforts to turn illegal immigration into a front-burner issue at the state and local levels. “I don’t know of anybody else driving the [illegal immigration] issue nationally as much as he is doing,” says Kansas state Sen. Steve Abrams, a Republican.

Kobach helped draft the 2010 Arizona law that, among other things, requires state and local law enforcement officials to check the immigration status of individuals they have stopped and have “reasonable suspicion” to believe are in the country illegally. That law has since been imitated by several other states -- thanks, in part, to Kobach’s own doing. It may spread further if the U.S. Supreme Court upholds it this spring.

You're showing your openborderness. Is it that you don't care for our county's security and sovereignty or is it just because you hate Trump so?

Ken Cuccinelli - Wikipedia

On July 14, 2010, Cuccinelli joined eight other states in filing an amicus brief opposing the federal government's lawsuit challenging an Arizona immigration enforcement statute.[27]

On August 2, 2010, Cuccinelli issued a legal opinion authorizing law enforcement officials to investigate the immigration status of anyone that they have stopped; previously this was done only for those arrested. Cuccinelli noted that the authority to investigate the immigration status of a stopped person should not "extend the duration of a stop by any significant degree." Critics note that the opinion circumvents changing the policy by legislation and that bills to make this change have died in the General Assembly.[28] In November 2010, Cuccinelli rendered a legal opinion requested by Delegate Scott Lingamfelter (R-Prince William) regarding a legislative proposal from Prince William County Board of Supervisors Chairman Corey Stewart to expand an anti-immigration county ordinance into a statewide law. Cuccinelli expressed the opinion that some provisions would be redundant, given existing laws, and others would be unconstitutional.[29]

You do realize that being against illegal immigration isn't "anti-immigrant," right?

You're showing your openborderness. Is it that you don't care for our county's security and sovereignty or is it just because you hate Trump so?

And your showing your hypocrisy. Thought you cons hated large government. Guess you approve since you love Trump so. Another lie from you before God. Wow, such hypocrisy from you.

I like that idea.

It's one thing to tolerate illegal immigration so as to not have to hire Americans who whine about overtime, safety gear, pay, working week ends. The Latino workforce is a superior work force. They work cheap, don't give you a lot of crap and will work OT at the snap of your fingers. You force your competitors to either hire illegals or raise their prices and lose jobs. In exchange we educate and feed their families who most often are common law marriage and are able to be a "husband free" home for welfare purposes.

Ten years of this and the get Social Security checks sent to them in Mexico.

It's a win win for big business and illegal aliens. And for you racists, Latino's run the blacks off in favor of jobs for their "brothers".

Pro illegal immigration persons are racist pricks who are against blacks and other poor whites and minorities.

Not drinking the nativist koolaid doesn't mean someone doesn't care about our country's security and sovereignty... :peace

Ten bucks says he ends up picking somebody from Fox News.

The Democratic Party now openly wants to eliminate out national border and given superior rights to illegals over Americans.

If an American citizen breaks a law they are not released without bond and told to appear for court in 6 years - even if just an unpaid traffic ticket. Illegal immigrants are guaranteed that right by Democratic Party passed laws and Democrat appointed federal judges.

Xenophobe- a person having a dislike of or prejudice against people from other countries....

Hope that helps you understand the discussion.... :peace

That's not an accurate definition. However, xenophobic is intolerance to anyone of different opinions, which now defined liberalism and the Democratic Party exactly.

Yes it does when it comes to open borders.

You do realize that being against illegal immigration isn't "anti-immigrant," right?

Favoring illegal immigration is in fact opposing diversity by legal immigration as it overwhelming favors one race - Latino. The goal of the Democratic Party is NOT diversity by immigration from other countries. The goal specifically is Latino immigration. Latinos are more reliable Democrat voters in the future than are Asians and Europeans.

I wasn't comfortable with the title czar even before this admin.

Trump adding an "immigration czar" would appeal to all the right prejudiced and xenophobic Republicans supporters these days.

Migration, the flow of humans from one location to another, is a natural process most commonly resulting from economic factors. Attempting to stop this process is like fighting against the tide. Ultimately your efforts will be futile. We should be working with migrants, both documented and undocumented, to more effectively integrate them into our society, so that all may benefit.

How does expecting people to enter our control through lawful means comprise xenophobia?

Latinos are not a race. They are a broad cultural-linguistic group which includes people of many races and ethnicities including black, white, and indigenous populations.

Oh I see the problem here- You referenced the Concrapiki… ya gotta have 'furriners' in the definition to have xenophobia....

Intolerance to anyone of different opinions is what Made America Great, well at least to those who think we can go back to 1950 America.... :peace

If it leads to sensible legislation, absolutely.....if not, then it's a waste of time and space.

What's the word when you dont like ANY race?
