Anyone else think both Trump and Biden are just too old to be running?

I prefer neither but will vote for biden if he is the dem nominee. I do agree we need some younger blood.

I would have loved to see stacy abrams and mayor pete on a ticket together.

I thought in 2016 that the apparent mental acuity of a candidate might count for something, but I was proven wrong. It's got not much to do with age, crazy people are crazy young and old.

LOL. Yes, he babbles a lot. He NEEDS a teleprompter. It's not a good thing that he goes without it so much. The only good thing about him not having a teleprompter is that he reveals what an idiot he is.

Acting like it's a virtue that he goes without a teleprompter ... that's right up there with saying that someone doesn't have to be a good person in order to be a good president. Trump fans say that with the implication that somehow Trump being such a horrible person makes him a good president. It doesn't.

Maybe someone could be a bad person and still be a good president. But that's not Trump. He's bad at it all. Everything he touches turns to fecal matter.


And he really really needs a teleprompter, because he makes a fool of himself without it. And sometimes even with it. Like that time he couldn't read his teleprompter and said revolutionary war troops took over the airports. Not even the teleprompter can save him all the time. But at least with it, he has a shot.

Oh knock it off, he doesn't have tens of thousands of people show up to every speech hanging on every word because he is babbling.

And that nothing about him saying airports instead of seaports. That was one of the few teleprompter speeches he gave, the rain knocked the teleprompter out and he slipped seamlessly to off the cuff. In those conditions a verbal slip is nothing. Most speakers. especially Obama could not have gone on at all.

I like Joe Biden, always have as a senator and then as VP. But I do worry about a bit of senility setting in. His run for the presidency has shown me a different Biden than the one who I had come to know over the last 40 or so years. I think the Democrats would be better off going with a fresh young face. Now if it is Biden vs. Trump, Joe would get my vote. That would leave Biden, Sanders, Warren out of the fresh young face I think the Democrats should be looking for.

Fresh young faces, relative unknowns when they announced have done quite well for the Democrats. Carter 1976, Bill Clinton 1992, Obama 2008. It's the old political hacks who haven't done so good especially from the Northeast. Hillary NY, Kerry Massachusetts, Dukakis Massachusetts.

I wouldn't impose an age limit on the candidates. In fact that would be unconstitutional unless one could get an amendment passed.
