Freshmen Missouri Senator Josh Hawley (R) has been accused of antisemitism, for using the word 'cosmopolitan' in a speech he delivered Tuesday to the National Conservative Conference. The Anti-Defamation League of Missouri asked Hawley to prove his allegiance. Sound familiar?

“We have asked the Senator for an apology for even unintended harm caused by the speech. For the Senator and all who have a public platform that comes with power, context matters. Words matter.”

Hawley initially laughed off the matter, thinking that this was just another case of liberals being overly petty over non-offensive speech. He's since changed his tune however, and now pledges to die for his accusers:

Senator Hawley, via Twitter-

You’ll have to carry me out on a slab before I compromise my defense of the Jewish people, their greatness, their history, their safety, and the state of Israel.

Well, that was easy! I wonder what made Senator Hawley change his tune? I agree with the poster who Tweeted in response:

"I wish I lived in a country where my representatives expressed the same zeal for me."

While researching this story, I stumbled across this antisemitic publication, featuring an Aryan woman on the cover no less!
