Where is your sense of humor this evening?
As always, irreverent and humble at the same time. A dichotomy.

Death of the body is real but death of the soul is not.
"Look! All the souls—to me they belong. As the soul of the father so also the soul of the son—to me they belong. The soul who sins is the one who will die." Ezekiel 18:4

That works fine interpreting God as literally love.
God is love. Love is the glue that holds everything together. God is the glue that holds together everything in creation. It's a vast concept to ponder and for the most part, I think the best way we can use our energy and time is to do the best we can with what is on our plate every day to deal with. Getting lost in pondering the concept of God is a mind-game that has no solution to it because our human minds just can't fathom such a vast concept.

In other words, grip should worry about grip's business and let God worry about God's business? I can buy that.
