Theocracy is the best governance form

Crushings and endings; trumpets blowing and king ruling? Christ would be horrified to know that's what you thought was His message to the world. Revelation is the most anti-Christian book of the Bible.

Democracy might have it's issues, but at least it is not a religious dictatorship. It is one of the most evil non-dictatorship kinds of governments in the world. We do not need to hang witches again or torture heretics.

Israel is also not a theocracy. Even a monarchy would be better than a theocracy and I am talking about a full monarchy, not the ones we have now in most countries that are monarchies.

You cannot trust those who cannot be removed from office by the power of the people, thus theocracy is theocrazy.

I find it dubious at best to consider "catholic straight answers" as anything but propaganda, but that aside the dark ages fiasco on humanity does not start and stop with the Spanish Inquisition, revolts across the region, or even various acts of lunacy all in the name of God.

This is about what theocracy really is... the merger of social control under a systems of belief and historically speaking that always leads to marginalization, division, oppression, violence, and loss of life.

Theocracy in action then is what brought us the dark ages, damn near the end of humanity, and a devolution across hundreds of years with persistent campaigns into other areas of the world. In action today theocracy brings nations like Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria, Iran and what is left of Libya.

While you try to blame Democracy or Socialism the real culprit is aristocracy in any form and theocracy breads another form of the exact same problem.

The real reason for loss of life across all of recorded human history is ideological differences amplified by those in power instilling in others who their enemies are, theocracy then or now is no different and it always without exception leads to acts of madness and lunacy.

Israel and its theocratic militancy created a successful country?

Zionism was conceived by the merging of militant nationalism with aggressive religion in the mid 1800s
It was born of theft, pillage, murder and lies to a people who had occupied the land for centuries.
It's leaders legitimized incarceration and theft of the land and water by pretending the indigenous people never existed.
They accepted as immigrants only Jews

Yeah, except that is not going to happen thank goodness, clergy as bad in ruling countries as dictators are, democracy is far far far superior to theocrazy or dictatorship.

American history is replete with events we would all condemn in one way or another, yet it has also brought into the world an unprecedented amount of goodness. For one thing, no other nation has sacrificed more for the idea of liberty than America. Too many people died over the words written in the Declaration of Independance and the Constitution for criticism to be so shallow and lacking in nuance. It sounds like an incompetent historian who tries to give himself a sense of relevance by making grand, sweeping condemnations. It's only worthless moral posturing.

If I had to pick a set of rules to establish a State today, I'd pick the American Constitution hands down. It has produced the society that has offered the most opportunities to the largest and most diverse set of people in history.
