The Rebuilding of the Cathedral Notre-Dame in Paris

You will remember that this cathedral nearly burned down completely in April 2019.
Now it is going to be re-built.
Some are for it, some are against it.

Which side are you on?

It should definitely be rebuilt, but with modern building codes and materials. After all, we are trying to preserve what it looks like, its external beauty, not what it was made from. Remake it identical to its original appearance, but remake it stronger, better, and more fire-resistant. Include some kind of plaque to recount the history of the building, and rebuilding.

It just won't be the same without Quasimodo...:2razz:

No it didn't. They lost the outer roof, but most of the interior survived.

Notre Dame will be rebuilt. It's too famous of a landmark not to be. Planning and logistics will be complicated however...
 
It will take years to re-build that church!
So this topic will be with us for some time to come.
 
Are there any more opinions on this topic here?
The rebuilding is still in process.
