Spirituality and the brain

Exactly. You just made my point. I can prove there is a tree in the forest. You cannot prove there is some higher authority.

So I believe the tree exists because we can prove the tree exists.

How did the tree get there? And, why is that specific tree there at this specific time? And, why did a tree become a tree and not a rodant?

I have no need to accept your perspective that your belief is based in logic. That is a weakness of faith that you are trying to shore up...for yourself and for others who question the existence of God. Why is it so important to you to PROVE that God exists? How does that affect your belief in God, or your practicing of Christianity in any way?

From all you write, it appears your faith is so weak that you must have proof in order to support your belief. And thus you seem to latch onto anything that could do so, even if invented from whole cloth and pseudo-science.

I believe in God on faith alone and that faith is unshakable. I swear, it's like you've never read the scriptures.

Excellent point! I once heard someone say in Church that our faith is dependent upon science. Our faith and beliefs cannot be true unless science proves it so. I pointed out the method God gave in James chapter 1 that science cannot increase or prove wisdom in God. Only faith and of course, works as faith without works is dead.

All that depends on what preceded it. Are you claiming that there are no processes that would enable the growth of a tree or the forest? Are you implying that there's no 'template' for any life form and that whatever develops is random? (this is for clarification of your question why a tree became a tree and not a rodent). Please answer.

I would leave a way for only people of faith enough in me to prove I exist. The others can go to hell :)

You can know He exists, but not be able to prove it.

How can you demonstrate with the senses, so called "God" as the doer of miracles?

I don't know of the proof of God, if there is one or not, but a proof that there isn't is the issue of privacy.

Not me. I believe God established everything we see. He is the Creator of our Universe. Just as it is laid out in Genesis.

Issue of privacy is a man-made up thing. The proof of God is easy to know when it comes to you. But, even then, you can deny God and his authority and power. Lucifer did and still does. The prescribed method is in James chapter 1. I can't do it for you.
