Many may recognize this as "Humbly I Adore Thee":

Ad te levávi ánimam méam: Déus méus in te confído,
non erubéscam: neque irrídeant me inimíci méi:
étenim univérsi qui te exspéctant, non confundéntur.
Vías túas, Dómine, demónstra míhi: et sémitas túas édoce me.
Glória Pátri, et Fílio, et Spirítui Sáncto. Sicut erat in princípio, et nunc, et semper, et in saécula saeculórum. Amen.
Populus Sion, ecce Dominus veniet ad salvandas gentes: et auditam faciet Dominus gloriam vocis suae in laetitiae cordis vestri. Qui regis Israel intende: qui deducis, velut ovem, Ioseph.
Gloria Patri et Filio et Spiritui Sancto. Sicut erat in principio, et nunc, et semper, et in saecula saeculorum. Amen.
Roráte caéli désuper, et núbes plúant jústum: aperiátur térra,
et gérminet Salvatórem.
Caéli enárrant glóriam Déi: et ópera mánuum éjus annúntiat firmaméntum.
Glória Pátri, et Fílio, et Spirítui Sáncto.
Sicut erat in princípio, et nunc, et semper, et in saécula saeculórum. Amen.

Unto you have I lifted up my soul. O my God, I trust in you, let me not be put to shame; do not allow my enemies to laugh at me; for none of those who are awaiting you will be disappointed.
Make your ways known unto me, O Lord, and teach me your paths.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
People of Sion, behold the Lord shall come to save the nations: and the Lord shall make the glory of His voice to be heard, in the joy of your heart. Give ear, O Thou that rulest Israel: Thou that leadest Joseph like a sheep.
Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Skies, let the Just One come forth like the dew, let him descend from the clouds like the rain. The earth will open up and give birth to our Saviour.
The heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament proclaims the work of his hands.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

God will equip you, to do what you're supposed to do!

Is he any good with fluid flow mechanics and the modeling there of or the detailed technical information of using variable power and speed dynamos to generate 3 phase power at a constant voltage and phase locked to the grid?

The Litany of the saints is one of the oldest Catholic prayers still in use. It was prayed in earlier forms in the procession of St. Mamertus, the Bishop of Vienna, in the fifth century, and in St. Gregory the Great’s Litania Septiformis ("sevenfold procession") of the clergy and the faithful, which followed a terrible spate of floods and disease in Rome in 590. Its stature is such that it is one of only six litanies authorized for use in public services by the Holy See.

The Litany of the Saints is often recited or sung in a shorter form than the one given below (which is itself an abridged version!) on All Saints Day (naturally enough!). It is a moving appeal for help from many of our greatest saints, as well as for divine protection.

"You won't understand God's agenda in Israel until you understand it is narrowed down to His purpose in giving Christ, and the beneficiaries are those who belong to Christ." - Charles Price

Do we know the difference between Y'srael and Israel?

Israel is what Gentiles call Y'srael. Y'srael is how they used to spell Israel in Y'srael.

Do we know the difference between Jesus and Yehoshua?

Jesus is the Gentile transliterated Name of Y[***]'shua.

What does Yehoshua mean in Y'srael? It means, 'Joshua', or 'the LORD is salvation'

But if it means 'Joshua', where did 'Jesus' come from?

And do we know the difference between Jerusalem and Yerushalem?

Why do I ask? Because in the Hebrew alphabet, there are no 'J', nor 'I', as in 'Jew', 'Israel', 'Jerusalem', 'Jesus'. Or 'Jacob', 'Isaac'.

And did you ever consider that when the Angel Gabriel went to visit Mary and announced to her her virgin birth, that Mary did not know how to speak English? And so the Angel Gabriel had to have spoken in the language Mary knew how to speak, which was more probably Hebrew or a dialect of Hebrew rather than English.

So if your name was Bob here, would you understand your name being called if you were in another Country where 'Bob' might be pronounced 'Yeb'?

Great slide show of vintage ol' time religion scored by Iris Dement's ol'timey rendition of this wonderful hymn

Here's another version of the same hymn.

Dig the harmonica. Dig the bouncy sing-along. Above all dig the faces of those singing.

Still Singing For God

60 years later

They started out in the mid-Fifties and here in 2018 Peggy and Reuben and their family are still singing for the Lord.

"Yes, He fought the battle I've won!"

I can't get enough of the MaKameys!
