More of a DP tech question - ignore list

So the platform used to build this site looks like a fairly common one. On others like this one, when you ignore/block a user you never see if they responded to your posts. It may be they never see your posts either. Here you can see they've responded but do not have to read that response unless you click view.

Is there a way to hide a user completely from your experience? My blocked users are all serial offenders when it comes to personal insults. Since that's not the sort of 'debate' I'm looking for I'd just as soon the site pretended they didn't exist at all.
 
I believe the maximum you can do here at DP is place a member on "Ignore".

Perhaps the feature you are looking for will be available with the new XenForo platform.
