I admit it, I'm, uh, challenged techwise.
How does one quote into a different thread?
Thanks in advance.

You mean something like those in my sig below?

I'll try it with a different device- this one doesn't have a mouse
Thanks.

Before using any kind of Reply Function, look at the bottom of any given post box. In the lower left corner, below the box, I see an option to '+ Reply to Thread'. Above that option, along the lower edge of the box and running left to right, I see a thumbs up icon and a triangle icon. Further to the right, I see three more options: Reply | " Reply With Quote | "+.

If you drag your cursor to the "+, then click, the quote in that box shows up in your next post, even if you post in a different thread.

Different situation that stumped me until explained involved including a quote in a Basement Original Post -

1.Find the quote you want to use. 2. Hit 'Reply'. 3. Copy the entire quote in your 'Reply Box'. 4. Open another Browser. 5. Start your Basement Thread in the new Browser. 6. Paste the quote in the Original Post of your Basement Thread. 7. Go back and close the old Browser.

Damn you guys have some childish fantasies. I bet you've already identified your first targets in that scenario.
