Hi,

I need to make a 1 off donation as a result of loosing a bet. Buzz won.

I would like to donate $100 on his behalf.

How do I do it as the donation thing seems to be monthly?

I put out a challenge to show that any local council in the world will need to spend more on dealing with the effects of a warmer world due to global warming than they will be spending on their traffic lights.

Miami Beach, just the small island bit, built on a sand bar, a beach, will apparently be doing so.

Although the cost of the 2 feet high sea defenses seems to be extremely high to me.

Yes. Donantion made, it was about time I did, however, I have since thought it through more and the challenge has not actually been made, the quoted cost of the work being done in Miami Beach is to replace/redo the sea defense as they have to every 30 to 50 years being on the beach in a hurricane zone. This work has a small component of cost in addition due to the needed increase of a foot of height although only 10cm of this is due to climate change, a third of the additional small amount not the whole $450 million.

So... you decided to wait till I said something? You have been thinking of blowing it off entirely, were you not?

And you have come up with even more completely ridiculous rationalizations to allow you to believe whatever you want.

And I would say your description of your challenge as being easy was pretty much a lie, wasn't it? You knew damn well you would pull the same kind of BS you pull with all your dishonest arguments.

And it would be nice if one of the mods would let me know if Tim did actually make the donation and that he isn't just lying to me.

I seriously can't believe anything he says.
