google search question

One problem I've always had when doing a google search is putting a search term in and getting results back that don't include that term. How can I force search results to come back containing that term?

Sorry, sloppy writing. I didn't mean "term" in the formal google search sense, I just meant that if I put a word in a search that I absolutely want to see in the results, how I do force Google to only come back with results that contain that word (or term)?

Quotes in google gives the exact phrase/word/sentence, in the same structure your looking for.
Otherwise I'm not sure what you're getting at.

Putting quotes around a word or phrase doesn't guarantee that Google will give you back that word or phrase in the results. Google generally reacts to my search terms like they're a polite suggestion rather than an outright demand.

Okay, so here's the example that made me finally start a thread:

antutu ios 10.3 "beta 6"

...netting me a ton of results that don't actually contain the word antutu. So how do I re-write that search so that it essentially tells google "Either give me results that contain 'antutu' or don't bother responding"?

I went to advanced search, put that in and it said no results for that exact search.
It's in the setting menu on Google search.
Maybe there really isn't a link for it.

I'm making the advanced search a tool bar bookmark so I can just use that every time.

A long ago some search engines supported boolean operators like AND and OR.

I'm pretty sure if you put +term it requires that word to be in the search, similarly if you want a result that lacks something you can put -term and any result that contains that term will be omitted.

That is because google charges companies to make sure their sites have priority in search returns and you are including phrases in your search not in quotes that those companies are paying google to put in front of you when you search for them.

That is true. That is also around the same time that everyone's grandmother was routinely laughed at for typing complete questions into a search bar.
