Magic came into the league to play with Jabbar, Michael Cooper and Norm Nixon. Jordan enters the league to play with Quentin Daily and Dave Corzine. Magic picks up Worthy and Byron Scott to go along with Kareem. Jordan draws Pippen and Grant to go with Cartwright.

Yes. Magic also had to leave before he was ready. Jordan quit and got a break to refresh himself before coming back. Magic never got that break.

I do. Lots of people have issues and don't quit. Nobody else hada parent die during their career? And baseball? Wasn't like he took off time to mourn, he switched careers.

...and if he took off time to mourn I would agree but he didn't. He took off time to play another sport.

Everyone mourns differently. He did say he did the baseball thing to honor his dad.
