Dave "Walter Cronkite" Portnoy Interviews Donald Trump at the White House | Barstool Sports

El Pres interviews the President of the United States.

Wow, Trump admits he regrets his tweets:

"Often, too often," Trump responded. "It used to be in the old days before this, you'd write a letter and you'd say this letter is very big. You put it on your desk and then you go back tomorrow and you say, 'Oh, I'm glad I didn't send it,' right? But we don't do that with Twitter, right? We put it out instantaneously, we feel great, and then you start getting phone calls -- 'Did you really say this?' I say, 'What's wrong with that?' and you find out a lot of things."

Trump then acknowledged that "it's the retweets" that get him "into trouble" versus the tweets he writes himself.

No, Donald, it's both the retweets AND your own tweets that are always getting you into trouble. You're not a victim and you 100% did this to yourself.

He said in the interview he misses being loved and the best time of his life was before he ran for president.

The writing is on the wall. He's going to lose the election and become a right wing media nut, and honestly he's going to like that a lot more. He can be as wild and inflammatory as he wants without any of the responsibility.

Makes me appreciate and have more gratitude for Trump than before.
It the cancel-culture mob going after El Pres now?

I can tell you one thing: if he goes back to private life moochers like Hillary, Al Sharpton, and Jesse Jackson will have to get their money somewhere else.

All three of those people had prominent careers far before Trump started anything political, and none of their careers are dependent on him now. What the hell are you talking about?

Best time of his life was before he ran for president? I think most Americans would agree their lives were better before he became president.

Why? It just goes to show he's not up to the task.

They were begging him for money when he was a private citizen, if you don't know that you're not paying attention.

It looks like their is internal strife within the company:

Sports podcast host Dan Katz, better known to his audience as "Big Cat," criticized president of Barstool Sports Dave Portnoy on Friday for Portnoy's interview with President Donald Trump, saying the website's tangent into politics was unexpected. Katz also claimed that he turned down a prospective interview with presumptive Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.

Katz said he declined a similar offer from Joe Biden's campaign for an interview with the presumptive Democratic presidential candidate "two months ago. We said no. I said, 'I'm not going to do it.'"

"People come to listen to me for an escape from the real world," Katz continued. "I'm here to make them laugh. I don't want to be serious. That's just what I want to provide to our audience and that's what Barstool should provide to our audience."

In 2015, Portnoy expressed his support for Trump's presidential campaign in a blog post. "I don't care if he's racist," Portnoy wrote. "I don't care if he's sexist. I hope he stays in the race and I hope he wins." Portnoy said he appreciated Trump's ability to make "other politicians squirm" with his comments.

Portnoy's statements have made him a controversial figure. In 2016, Portnoy said that former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick looked like a terrorist.

"Throw a head wrap on this guy," Portnoy said, "he's a terrorist."

You have been blocked

I find this hard to believe. I have seen him on Tucker Carlson's show a lot.

“I was in so many rap songs. Like 79 or something — I was in every rap,” Trump told Portnoy.

“The best day in my life, in terms of business and life and everything, the day before I announced [a run for president in 2015], everything was good,” Trump said.

Trump's business has suffered a lot sine becoming President. His reputation with the black community has tanked.

Not just the black community but much of America. How many wealthy educated whites are no longer staying in Trump hotels because of how toxic he is? He's staying afloat thanks to taxpayer dollars and foreign diplomats seeking his favor. Vast majority of his base cannot afford a stay in his hotels.
