So, first of all, the attempt to misrepresent is a failure. I do not believe that anyone who disagrees with me is a racist. I believe that racists are racist, and thankfully there is enough of a societal understanding of what that means today that it's pretty much obvious in most cases. It's also a failure because I had two descriptors - I believe I said "dip**** racists" and "social luddites". That represents two groups of people, though I would agree if someone said they tend to overlap. But they are not mutually inclusive terms.
In terms of my desperation, let me clarify. I am not desperate for you to find me correct. Not at all. The point was that people who hold toxic and obsolete ideologies don't matter anymore, because they are being bulldozed by decency. It's the movement that is exploding all around you, despite your whining and complaining and demonizing and scapegoating and...well, you get the picture. It's the birthplace of "Ok, Boomer", and the designation of "Karen". It is so mainstream that the toxic ideologies of people who would seek to hold society back are already dead...y'all just don't know it yet...which is probably why you run around debate forums like chickens with your heads cut off. It's already over, bud, you lost. :shrug:
So, no, I'm not desperate to be "found" correct, I know I'm already on the right side of history. You're the desperate one, and with good reason...your grasp on the world is slipping, and you will be remembered as the type of person that delayed progress. Whether or not you, personally, are a racist is something I can't assign. I don't know you, nor do I care to know you to that level. But you are most certainly a social luddite, and that is proven with every post you drop here. Until you decide to get with the program, you're basically for entertainment purposes only....except when you're serving as a cautionary tale for the next generation, and better people in your own.
As I've said on this forum enough times, time will take care of what decency will not. How you are remembered is up to you, but your impact has a shelf life...which seems to have expired, because all the things folks like you are ranting and raving about is happening anyway, and that's during a time when you have possibly the most regressive president in the history of your country at the helm no less. Imagine what's gonna happen when he's out of there. hehe... Nah, bud, no desperation required...simply patience, and gentle pushing in the right direction - something made infinitely easier when you folks are so willing to be the example of how not to be.
It would take more than that to get the widespread support, or at least widespread indifference, that making this change would require. It's been talked about for years. That it's coming to a head now simply indicates that a big enough segment of society is ready for it to come to a head. :shrug: It was always going to happen, that's what you didn't realize back when these complaints were first made. You can't stop change.
