I'd like to see a vaccine / a serious increase in testing / other treatment options. I'm a scientist, and while I can't be specific, I can say that this bug is a top priority for a lot of us.

Wouldn't it be killed if they played but allowed dogs and cats in the arena as audience members? That would be wild!
Is it just me or is it getting crazier out there?”

Would you participate? Would you spectate if allowed?

I was 15 years old during the 1969 Hong Kong Flu that killed 100,000+ Americans and between 1 and 4 million world-wide. I remember the Martin Luther King Jr. assassination in January, the lunar landing in July, and Woodstock in August. I was also playing both football and basketball in high school, and I never missed a single game.

Nobody panicked and completely lost their minds in 1969, like they have in 2020. We didn't intentionally destroy our economy in our panic, because there was no panic 51 years ago.

I'm far too old to be playing sports these days, but I would have no problem sitting in a packed stadium watching a decent college football game, like between the Huskers and the Sooners.

They also discovered a vaccine quickly for that outbreak so its tough to compare.
