So hard to judge. Arguments can be made for individual stats, championships, etc. But if I were an owner and could pick one QB at their prime, I would probably take Peyton.

A great quarterback leads his team to championships...

There can be only one.

You're higher than giraffe ***** if you think Drew Brees barely makes the cut when he outpasses literally everyone else on that list.

I don't know how you leave off Sammy Baugh and Otto Graham but ok, decent list.

It was between Otto and Favre.

The argument for Baugh is he basically revolutionized the forward pass. Otto---just tough as nails put up amazing stats (yards per) in 10 years when QBs could be murdered on field with no flags.

I never saw him play, but my father-who was a huge football fan, said Otto Graham was a guy who won constantly and still has the highest winning percentage of any quarterback. It is hard to compare players 60-70 years ago with modern players. Just like comparing Rod Laver with Roger Federer or Oscar Robertson with Kobe Bryant. Modern athletes -due to better physical training, medicine, nutrition etc are bigger faster and stronger, and miss far less practice due to injuries.

My dad would say Sonny Jugrenson.

I understand the impossibility of comparing generational players...and there arre ALWAYS thing people will point to. O-lines...rcvrs...rules changes, different defenses...all of that is real...but I prefer to think in terms of adaptive greatness. A great player yesterday would have likely developed as an athlete to be a great player today. Still...

Tom Brady's history is just too strong. 9 Superbowls in 20 years. 6 Superbowl wins. 4 SuperBowl MVPs. Individual accolades too numerous to type.

He also won a bunch of titles and had the highest winning percentage of all time

Brady has to be #1. All doubt ended when he led a 25 point comeback to win the 5th ring.

#2 is an open question. There are four main candidates--Elway, Montana, Marino, Unitas. Choose your order.

The second five, also in no order--Brees, P Manning, Bradshaw, Jurgensen, Graham. HM--Fouts, Rodgers, Kelly, Favre, Moon, Dawson, Blanda. Young could be well up the list, but his career was too short.

I find it interesting how often Favre and Staubach make these lists. Favre I can sort of see, though I consider him no better than Dan Fouts. Staubach isn't even the best QB the Cowboys have had, but he played for Saint Tom. Another name is Starr, who was a game manager before the term was coined.

Where will Mahomes wind up?

#2 is where it gets interesting. I want to say Montana...no question...but...theres that Steve Young guy...a QB that in no way deserves to be in the top 10, but who came in and basically took the same 49ers Team to a SuperBowl win. But lets say Montana at #2

#3...theres a lot of really good QBs at 3...buyt they arent the greatest.

Dude,,, all Atlanta had to do was fun the ball a couple of times and it was over... passing lost them the title... Brady had nothing to do with it.

the argument has been and always will be that a great player in the past will be even better in the present with diet, training, etc. It is stupid to say that Bjorg would not kick ass simply because he was hindered with a wooden racket.

Nothing? Really? Like Mahomes had nothing to do with this year?

They were down four TD. They were still down double digits in the 4th quarter. Credit to BB's D, but there was no room for a mistake.

yeah I think Jesse Owens would have won some big meets if he was running now rather than 85 years ago

Pretty much every analyst I heard during the game, on PTI, on Highly Questionable, SVP, etc said that Atlanta blew it rather than Mahomes winning it... and I 100% agree.

...and that is not taking into account technological improvements in tracks, shoes, pole vault landing mats, etc.

#1 Bart Starr.
Five NFL championships, highest all-time playoff winning percentage, called his own plays.
