True about Gronk, I forgot about that. And I can't speak for Brady's fans because I'm not exactly one of them. I just have a hard time when folks look at raw stats in lieu of actual film and determine that a single player had a down year because of the aggregate numbers. Virtually everything an American Football player does on the field depends heavily on what 21 other people do at the same time. QB completions, INTs, TDs, pressures, and sacks are a reflection of how the game went for the entire offense, not necessarily how well or poorly the QB himself played.Gronk didn't play the year the Falcons won a sb. He got injured.
Why is it when Brady plays well Brady fans refuse to give his supporting cast any credit but when he struggles, they dump it on his supporting cast?
I agree that if TB tries to change him to fit their scheme instead of the other way around it will be a disaster. But I'm assuming Bruce Arians is a lot smarter than that.He isn't football Jesus. He's going to struggle adapting to a new playbook that calls for aggressive passes, not for 20 screen/bubble throws.
Does winning half a SB count for honorable mention at least? The Falcons never won the SB.
