Kobie Bryant Feared Dead In Chopper Crash

CNN just confirmed the fatalities include NBA legend Kobe Bryant!

Whoa! Wow! That news affected my breathing! Like many of you, I Love basketball. Kobe at the height of his game absolutely ranked among the very best in his game. He won five NBA rings. He also impacted society in a lot of other ways with other endeavors.

Gone from among the living at the tender age of 41, he went directly from high school basketball into the NBA and had a great career.

My condolences to all saddened by his passing.

Yes it's confirmed, his 13 year old daughter, plus her friend and her friend's mother were killed.

Yesterday I made this, I showed it to my brother and he loved it but he said it looked like a passing away piece while at the same time a tribute to the passing the points. I laughed it off saying no one will think that. Now I can't look at it without tearing up. Rip

TMZ reported that this was his personal helicopter and they circled the LA zoo multiple times before heading straight into a fog bank and the side of the mountain. I am not sure that this is quite in the "unpredictable outcomes" category.

At least Kobe can play basketball against Wilt Chamberlain now.

When watching Bryant play basketball he was doing things a mortal human could not do. He was like a basketball god.

The helicopter carrying Kobe Bryant and eight other passengers that crashed into a hillside in Southern California on Sunday was in a climbing left turn about 2,400 feet high before it dove to the ground, a person familiar with preliminary investigative information about the fatal crash told ESPN.

The source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, told ESPN that the pilot had only moments before contacting air traffic controllers to say that he had begun a climb to "go above the layer" of clouds present.
