NFL Playoffs

Umm... the 49'ers have a HOF cb in Richard Sherman. They definitely have an answer for Hill.
Sherman is good...but he is no where near fast enough to hang with Hill one on one. They will scheme cover Hill...but if Mahommes has time, Hill will burn them.

It will be interesting to see just how Mahomes stands up to the big game pressure if he is really put to the test.

Like he was never in that situation before?

BTW there is no double M in Mahomes.

The Patriots already setup the blueprint to stop Hill which they did last year.

Who on the Chiefs is stopping George Kittles? Deebo Samuel, and Emanuel Sanders?

Not sure if you have read my comments regarding the 49ers balanced attack.

They have Terrell Suggs and Tyrann Mathieu to stop Kittle.

Emmanual Sanders was a Bronco for several seasons, including part of this one. The Chiefs know everything they need to about tackling him.

chuckle. Terrell Suggs is like 40-years old.

Mathieu is not even in Kittles class.

The Chiefs cbs are straight garbage. Good luck defending Sanders and Samuel.

I actually don't think there is any garbage on either of these two teams.

This is shaping up to be a hard fought game and could very well go either way. I believe the Chiefs will win but am not putting any money on it.

Of course we all know you could probably run circles around these pieces of "straight garbage".

Chuckle. Terrell Suggs is like 40-years old.

Is he better than most linebackers his age? That is what matters.

Mathieu is not even in Kittle's class.

Huh? Tyrann Mathieu is a safety, not a tight end.

The Chiefs CBs are straight garbage. Good luck defending Sanders and Samuel.

I guess you have not watched any Broncos-Chiefs games during the last four years. See what Kansas City's defense did with Emmanuel Sanders.

The 49ers are going to run into Chris Jones and Frank Clark. Those "garbage" cornerbacks may not have to do too much.

Except for the spread(only 1 point this year), this SB is reminiscent, IMO, of the 2007 SB...

1 team had a high power offense(Pats), the other team(Giants) had a young QB(Eli) and a grind it out offense but was mostly a defensive 1st team.... Sounds like the 49'ers and Chiefs this year.

Baseball and football has changed over the years, but some things never change, in baseball in the playoffs pitching usually wins, in footballs defense usually wins. I'll be pulling for the Chiefs, but I won't be surprised if the 49'ers win

For what it's worth, in my view, the Chiefs have far too many offensive weapons to throw at the 49ers and the Chiefs' defense, over the past 10 weeks, has been perhaps the best in the league. 49ers lack the quick strike offense that the Chiefs possess and will be unable to keep up with a very confident, very dynamic Chiefs' offense.

I appreciate that the 49ers play a lot of tight games and seldom lose, or win, by more than a few points, but I see this game as a bit of a blowout as it winds down - 49ers may make it closer late in the fourth quarter, but the game will have been over long before then. Final score, in the range of Chiefs 41 - 49ers 28.

If you're a Chiefs or 49ers fan, enjoy the day and the game - I'm envious!!

49'ers win.

I'll take a great defense over a great offense every time.

Broncos historic high powered offense led by Peyton Manning? Embarrassed by the Seahawks

The greatest show on Turf St. Louis Rams? Shut down by the Patriots

The Chiefs will fall. Andy Reid is a proven game mismanager. 49'ers defensive line will enforce their will on Mahomes who isn't ready.

When I come back tomorrow in this thread you can thank me then.

I agree, I think San Francisco will win, their offense is strong and their defense is very strong. They will be very good at that side of the game.

Nope. The Greatest Show on Turf won Super Bowl 34. They lost the next year on a last-second game-winning field goal, so they were not shut down against the Patriots, just unable to block the NFL's best kicker.

I'm leaning Chiefs but the 49'ers have a good chance to win as well. It should be a good game.

I'm just saying. A lot of people say Pat Mahomes is the cats meow. We have seen great QBs fail in the SB many times - Marino, Favre,

What makes you think the Chiefs D sucks? It's actually rated slightly better than the 49'ers.

The greatest QB ever never failed: Montana.

Brett Favre has a Super Bowl ring, you know.

A loss tomorrow would not take away anything Patrick Mahomes accomplished in the NFL. People can't say Jimmy Garoppolo is better on the basis that he won the game as a starter if that is what happens.

Well, with no Patriots anymore to cheer for I am hoping for a good game so that the casual fan is well entertained.

I’m hoping for a wardrobe malfunction in the HT show.
