My favorite team on this schedule is Green Bay. If the Packers don't make it, I hope the Saints do because of how last season ended for them. On the other side, I have to root for Kansas City because Jacksonvvile and Denver are out of the playoffs.

I have to love that the Patriots backed out of a first round bye.

Out of the NFC? Well anyone really but the Packers. The Packers can suck giant dicks in hell. Wouldn't mind if the Vikings got beat out either, but if they make it through, ok. In general, I do not think that any Philadelphia team in any sport should ever be in their respective championship game since Philly fans are unquestionably the worst fans in every sport. So I guess best case for the NFC is Saints or Seahawks.

AFC, I don't really care. Part of me wants the Patriots to lose in the first round, part of me wants to see them win another Super Bowl as I think it would be humorous to see all the Brady haters seething as he won a 7th Super Bowl. I'd like Baltimore to get beat, but I try not to say that too often in case Ray Lewis is listening, lol. Though it may be nice to see the Bills finally make it back and not lose to the Cowboys.

Last time Buffalo went to the SB the made a run 4 straight times at it. The best in football that didnt win the big dance. Nobody has come close to that not even the Pats.

As long as the Packers and the Pats go down then I'll be happy, I dont mind if any other team wins it all.

I'm an AFC guy, so I'll be following the AFC closer. I kind of like KC in the AFC, simply because watching Mahomes play is an absolute blast. He is fun to watch. But if I was a betting man it's hard to pick against the Ravens getting to the SB.

On the NFC side I guess I'll be rooting for the 49'ers.. Got to admire how they went from being so bad, to now the #1 seed. Pretty damn impressive. And they should make it to the SB, they have had some really impressive wins this year.

And finally.... ' How bout those Cowboys'...

It will be interesting to see how Kirk Cousins handles his second playoff game. If he can ball then I think the Vikings can really make life difficult for New Orleans.

Close to what? Losing 4 Super Bowls in a row?

Mahomes is fabulous to watch...and I know my wife will be rooting for the Chiefs to win everything.

My two favorites are the Saints and the Niners.

Niners came to be my favorites out of nowhere.

My real favorite is my beloved GIANTS...but I think their chances are too slim this year. ;)

I don't see the Patriots losing two at home plus I think the lights might be a bit bright for Tannehill so I will take the Patriots. But given how the offense has been playing and how banged up they are I don't see them going deep this year. Buffalo vs Houston should be a good game but I think Houston have enough about them to get it done at home.
Saints obviously the safe money but it all depends on what Kirk Cousins shows up because at times this year he has been brilliant. That being said I think they will struggle without Cook moving the chains.
Fully expect Seattle to smoke Philly even with no Rb's. The Eagles are not great this year but were lucky enough to have a bad division this year.

Don't you mean backed in?
I had it right. They had a three game margin going into week #13. They blew a three game lead and the tie breaker in five games to back out of the bye.

4 in a row is impressive, the Bills were a great team back then for sure. Dallas could have made a much better consecutive run had Jerry Jones not fired Jimmy Johnson. I truly believe that had Johnson remained as the Cowboy's head coach, that they would have easily won 5 in a row.

And it's true that the Patriot's haven't gone 4 times in a row. That being said, since 1995, the Patriot's have been to the Superbowl 10 times and won 6. As good as the Bills were back then, I don't think there has been a dynasty as long lived and successful as the New England Patriots. And I'm not a Patriots fan. I do like Brady, because I am a Michigan fan, but mostly I don't really care that much about the AFC apart from the Broncos. My true allegiance is to the Bears, and their continued inability to ever have a good QB. Just saying, there has been no team so dominating as Brady and the Patriots. I mean, hell, all of Brady's rings won't fit on a single hand.

That being said, they may make a good run this year, maybe not. I think we're seeing the end of that dynasty.

Saints have to play the Vikings? Man, that sucks.

They lost to Miami at home by being idiots on the last play. That is called backing out. I can imagine Chiefs fans went bonkers when they saw the final score of that game.

I would love to face Kirk Cousins in the playoffs. There is nothing about him that I fear.

Kirk Cousins can't win nationally televised games. NFL analysts kept talking or writing about his winless record on MNF. But how much of that is because he spent most of his career on a bad team?

As we saw with Case Keenum two years ago, it is all about who catches or runs with the footballs, not who throws them. Adam Thelein and Stefon Diggs make any QB look better than he is.

If Cousins were the QB when the Vikings had Adrian Peterson in his prime, they probably would have won the SB. Since Dalvin Cook is not 100%, I give them less than 25% of beating the Saints.

The Vikings had a much better chance beating the Seahawks in Seattle. Russell Wilson is a fine QB, but I don't consider him an elite QB. He had like 50 yards passing in the first half yesterday. He's good, don't get me wrong, but I don't get the desired consistent production from Wilson that is expected from the highest-paid QB in the NFL

Again, very good QB, I consider him a B+ QB.

Russell Wilson is definitely not an elite passer, but he can run. all over the field. Kirk Cousins can't.

San Francisco has an elite defense, especially with #97 on the field. The 49ers can't lose next weekend.

I agree with that. Wilson is better than Cousins.

Realistically, 5 teams have a reasonable shot at the SB: Bal, SF, GB, KC and NO

Less likely: Vikes

Also rans: Pats, Seattle

No shot: Titans, Eagles, Bills, Texans

Go Bills
I wouldn’t mind seeing an underdog go all the way.
