Nba 2020

Looks like the Lakers are going to miss the playoffs again this year.

they did apply for the ppl loan though

Maybe they can use the money to replace Anthony Davis. They'll need it.

That was a great series. I re-watched it recently, apparently right before YouTube scrubbed all the old Bulls' games.

My favorite Pacer was Antonio Davis. When the Pacers traded him for Jonathan Bender I was deeply disappointed. Bender was thought by some to be the next superstar, but injuries derailed him.

They had a good squad and coach that year. Bulls were old. But, it's not easy to dethrone the champs.

Interesting how the Bulls had so much trouble with the Pacers yet the Lakers beat them with ease in the finals.

The Bulls had no troubles with Indy until they got old. Winning 6 titles in 8 years will do that.

Jerry Krause built a great team.

I don't know if he drafted Michael, but he did pretty good job of bringing on Harace and Scottie. And, then later: Harper, Rodman and Kerr--oh, and that foreign player Tony Kukoc.

He didn't draft Jordan (Rod Thorn was the Bull's GM at the time). But he did draft Oakley, trade for Cartwright, trade for Pippen (basically draft him), give Phil Jackson his first head coaching position, etc.... And as you point out, he was able to draft Kukoc, sign Harper, and trade for Rodman for the second three-peat.

However... he dismantled the Bulls by publicly stating Phil Jackson will not coach the Bulls the following season, in which Phil would call it The Last Dance. It gave the Bulls such a bad reputation around the league, that they've unable to attract any high-caliber free agents since then.

Commissioner Adam Silver and the league's advisory/finance committee have shared the broad details of a plan with teams to play at The Walt Disney World Resort, sources said. The plan includes 13 Western Conference teams and nine Eastern Conference teams, eight regular-season games, a possible play-in tournament for the eighth seed, and playoffs, sources said.

The top 16 teams in the Eastern and Western conferences will be joined by teams currently within six games of eighth place in the two conferences -- New Orleans, Portland, San Antonio, Sacramento, Phoenix and Washington, sources said.

The play-in tournament will include the No. 8 and No. 9 teams -- if the ninth seed finishes the regular season within four games of the eighth, sources said. In that case, the No. 8 seed enters a double-elimination tournament, and the No. 9 seed a single-elimination tournament, sources said.

Teams will begin training at team sites in July and advance to full training camps in Orlando in July, sources said.

It will be fun watching Kevin Durant and John Wall in the playoffs!

I don't expect to see either one of them until next season.

John Wall says he is 110%. Durant had the coronavirus. If he didn't play that would probably be a sign he is scared.

Wall has never been 100% in his career, so 110% is hyperbole. He may be able to play effectively. No issues with Durant playing, since he is certified recovered.

I wonder if baseball will be able to salvage anything. Unless the Union makes concessions, the owners cannot afford to play without a live crowd.

The Lakers care about rings...

The Clippers care about chicken wings.

Another clutch showing for the goat, Lebron James. Paul George chokes again

Lol. Joakim Noah guarding AD? How is Noah even in the league?

THe kneeling was nice. I liked it.

As for the Lakers: if the season continues, they should be favorites now. LeBron is a beast when he has rest. And, dude had three months of that. They are the favorites now for sure...if they can keep playing.
