WALSH: A Female Soccer Player Says She ‘Definitely’ Could Play In The NFL. No, She Definitely Couldn't. | Daily Wire

Speaking of breaking necks, that would be the most likely fate of the first female NFL player. It seems sadly inevitable that the league will eventually cave to P.C. pressure (as it has a tendency to do) and force some poor team to put a woman on its active roster. In our enlightened area, we just cannot allow professional football to remain the exclusive province of men. But I hope for Lloyd's sake that — despite her wishes — she is not the lamb sacrificed on this particular altar of wokeness.

I guess we need a human sacrifice to prove that on the sporting field, men are different from women. It is not going to be a pretty sight.

There is one goal an NFL team has - winning. Should a female prove herself worthy by beating out the competition in whatever position she is trying out for, thereby proving herself to be an asset to the team, then, and only then will she be admitted to the roster.

To suggest an NFL team can be pressured to put someone on their roster unqualified, male or female is ridiculous.

(I love male victim culture on a holiday weekend)

Let her try out. See if she can still boot that 55 yard field goal with a 3 step approach. Otherwise...she's going to get killed.

The first qualification is availability. Anything other than kicker/punter I don't see her lasting a game. First time she goes for catch over the middle or cuts through a line opening she will get blasted, the real question becomes just like her male counterparts how many hits can she take and keep going? I suggest she gets lit up before attempting this endeavor to see if really wants to try. Getting lit up aint fun, I was a running back and strong safety in high school. I remember get lit up. It was not fun. Its the first time I literally saw "stars" after getting hit. There are players on the professional team I follow who are offended that coaches are trying to bring the college game to the NFL and aim see it to the dust bin of history. There may be a similar reaction toward any female players attempting to get on a team.

Kicker/punter is the likely candidate position where a female might have a breakout opportunity. Having said that, there are some pretty tough women out there. There's a female tackle league right now called the "LFL". The Austin team has twin ladies as defensive tackles. Both are about 6' and 200 - not giants by NFL standards I grant you but not wilted flowers either!

Height and weight aren't the only requirements to being "tough" either. I played rugby over a decade. I'm well under 6' and when I played I was also well under 200lbs. I both dished out and took some major hits to and from people much larger. The only time I was injured was when I broke my hand. (My fist accidentally collided with an opposing players face).

Nothing wrong with a female playing on a male professional team as long as they can compete. Football - place kicker, Baseball - maybe a crafty lefty who throws junk. Basketball, not going to happen. Tennis, no. Track and Field - No, Cycling - No, Hockey - Haha. etc etc etc.
