College Football 2019

Looks like Ohio State will be playing Wisconsin in the Big Ten Championship. There is less than 8 minutes left in the game and Wisconsin is up something like 28 points over Minnesota. The Auburn Alabama game is a real cheek squeezer. One point difference but still a whole quarter left to play.

Bama vs. Auburn game is close.

Tigers up by 3 mid-4th Q.

48-45.

I thought Saban was going to stroke out just before the half!

Bama goes down. I love it.

Now Utah is actually in the playoff discussion.

But I gotta have my dawgs take down LSU next week.

Wide open 4-spot now.

Food for thought: Bama was 8-0 with a healthy QB before Trump came to be cheered. :)

Seeing what LSU did to A&M today, I have grave concern for the Buckeyes' fate should they reach that level of play in early January.

Michigan was a tougher opponent than A&M, IMHO. OSU will be fine.

I don't know about that. LSU is on fire.

As for tonight's game, I began flipping channels after the first drive, sigh. As for the Aggies [dated 11-24]:

Texas A&M added to its case of having the hardest schedule in history Sunday.

With the unveiling of the latest AP Top 25, the Aggies will be the first team ever to face three No. 1 teams in a single season as they are set to travel to top-ranked LSU next Saturday in Baton Rouge, La.

...LSU players were already looking ahead to next Saturday’s game against A&M following the win over Arkansas in hopes of serving some revenge after falling in the unforgettable 74-72 7OT shootout last season. Hardest schedule in history? Texas A&M becomes first team to face three No. 1 teams in same season

And they played Clemson and Alabama early, 2nd and 4th games and both on the road. I was hopeful they'd surprise LSU tonight. LSU was tremendous.

By the way, I thought Burrow wearing the "Burreaux" jersey was great: LSU's Joe Burrow wears "Burreaux" jersey on senior night (via KATC ABC Lafayette)

Geaux, Tigers.

Make no mistake; I think LSU is more than formidable and could easily win the national championship, as could Clemson. But I think Michigan would handle Texas A&M pretty firmly, and I think OSU is a little better than LSU and Clemson. That's why they play the games.

You're right--and why we watch too. We will see...!

With the level of disappointment experienced by Saban, his players and their fans, I would expect some sour grapes and moaning.

As a die-hard Gator who favored Auburn in that game, I absolutely did not see anything unfair about the last second field goal or the legal trickery at the end of the game employed by Auburn.

What a Great Game and nice warm up to my personal 'Game of the Day'..... Florida v. Florida State! We Gators love to hate Florida State!

What's your opinion of the minute added back into the game that Saban was so ticked about?

There are multiple stories this morning about coaches and their rants and unbecoming behavior.
Dabo Sweeney went off on the CFP claiming they are not treating Clemson fairly.
Saban went off over the ref calls and then accused the coach of Auburn of an unfair trick on the final punt.
Harbaugh was less than gracious with reporters after Michigan loss to Ohio State.

The referees made an earnest effort to comply with the rules. Going forward, I can see making a reasonable argument to change some of the rules in light of what happened.

It reminds me of Virginia's improbable success in winning the NCAA Basketball Championship last season. In a key game, a Virginia guard clearly got away with a double dribble that enabled Virginia to win that game. Anomalies and human foibles happen.
