College Football 2019

Is MN a threat to Penn State?

Bucks have Maryland and Rutgers, two scrimmage games.

Minnesota is coached by P.J. Fleck, who previously worked miracles at Western Michigan, and now seems to be doing the same thing at Minnesota.

Ah, I see they are 8-0. Wow.

Michigan getting shut out by Penn State. Look out Buckeyes, PSU is for real.

We never take PSU for granted. They are having a great season. I think they are #6 but after their win today and Oklahoma #5 loss, most likely they will move up to #5.
I'm glad it will be a home game. Buckeyes are not welcome at PSU. It should be a heck of a game.

I was surprised to see LSU #2 really struggle to beat Auburn #9. But a win is a win.

Thanks to Jack's info, I am now going to pay close attention to next week's PSU vs. Golden Gophers game.

MeeshEgan is horrible. ND 17-0, 3rd Q

lol....I was so used to the above sentiment, my perception read the score backwards.

It's 17-0 Michigan. :doh

OSU and Penn State: 11/23

LSU and Bama: 11/9

Pretty good to see the top tier teams due to face each other soon.

A true fan and a good team does not take any opponent for granted....even the so-called cupcake teams. As a Bama fan, I am not surprised that LSU had a tough time with Auburn. Despite Auburn's record, they are still quite capable of performing at a playoff level. As an Alabama fan, I never take the Iron Bowl game for granted, especially if it's played at Jordan Hare Stadium. They always play us as if it were the championship game. Our toughest games left in regular season are going to be LSU and Auburn. I hope we are ready for them.

Right now the cheap tickets for the PSU game are going for about 180 bucks quite a bit more than the tickets for the rival Michigan game. If OSU takes out PSU and Bama ends its season strong, we could possibly be where you and I were a few years ago. It didn't end well for you that time. But anything can happen. It was a shocker yesterday to see KSU beat Oklahoma.

You will still need to get past Minnesota in the Big 10 title game.

Michigan looks to have figured things out.

Penn State will always be difficult at night

Gophers in the title game...

OSU has a long way to go before I put them in as a lock to end up at number 1-4.

I haven't forgotten the Big Ten Title game. I'm not convinced it will be Minnesota. I have my doubts they can beat Wisconsin or PSU. We shall see...….

I agree that OSU is the best-looking team I've seen this year, but Oklahoma's loss should be a cautionary note for all.

P.J. Fleck already worked miracles at Western Michigan . . . .

Quite possibly. Right now, I would not make a bet on how a rematch rematch between Bama and OSU would turn out. I think Bama has the best offense in college football right now, however Bama's young defense is a work in progress. I'll have a better handle on how they might do against OSU after the games against LSU and Auburn....especially LSU. OSU is a very solid team this year.

It was a shocker yesterday to see KSU beat Oklahoma.

Agreed. I expected that game to be another notch in quarterback Jalen Hurt's belt. Oklahoma's weak point is it's defense, the same as last year.

I saw tonight that Minnesota moved up 4 to #13 with an 8-0 record. When you start looking at the teams they have played and barely won the games it explains why they are in #13 with an 8-0 . Now the Wisconsin game should be interesting but with PSU, there is no way the Golden Gophers will take that one. I wish P.J. Fleck well but maybe next year.

In the rankings for this past week LSU eeek out Alabama by 2 points. Ohio State remained in 3rd but Alabama #2 is only 6 points over Ohio State.

So next week Bama and LSU are playing. Two great teams. Ohio State on the other hand is playing Maryland. I believe they call that one a cupcake. Clemson #4 also has a cupcake game. OSU time is still TBA. I hope it is early so I can watch the Bama vs LSU at 3:30 if not I will definitely be flipping between channels.

You may be right, but Fleck reminds me a bit of Chris Petersen when he was coaching at Boise State.

Darn! Shucks! Dag-gum-it! Jacksonville FL, a neutral site, hosts the Florida Georgia game.

Georgia converted 12 out of 18 3rd downs, totally dominated the clock and beat my Gators 24 - 17.

Congratulations Bulldog fans! I did my part as a Gator fan; it pained me to watch that game! :3oops:

At least Miami beat FSU. Gator fans generally Love to Hate Florida State. Consolation smile!;)

When FSU plays Miami I suspect the stadium is full of parole officers.
