Actually, this thread is "College Football" not basketball. It's supposed to be fun.

Oops, I don't know why I said basketball when I clearly meant football which is what I commented about (the Belk Bowl, Virginia Tech vs. Kentucky).

I didnt see this coming...I'm a big Gopher fan, and I didnt anticipate Minnesota dominating the way they did.....the score alone tells only a small part of the game; yardage, possession, etc...Minnesota has come a long ways in a short time.

The Rose Bowl was an incredible comedy of errors. Rather entertaining for a neutral fan like me (with a lot of lead changes), but it was kind of impressive how Wisconsin self-destructed. They had a lot more yards and time of possession and when NOT committing stupid penalties or turning the ball over, they seemed to be playing much better than Oregon, but they still managed to lose the game with four turnovers, which resulted in 21 points for Oregon. The Ducks only scored 7 points that were not the direct result of their opponent's turnovers, and still won the game 28-27.

Just goes to show that all those accumulated yards and possession times don't mean squat if you are going to just pop up the ball for the opponent.

Well, geaux, jeaux! In my own mind, I saw this as the "old man" vs "the kid." Lawrence has now lost his first game ever, and this will build his character. At the beginning of the game, I was texting with a friend, and no sooner had he texted that the swamp kitties were in trouble, we were both "Wow, wait a minute!"

Great game!
 
News flash! Joe Burrows is pretty good.
