Nike has chosen the hill they will die upon. Kaepernick is running the company and its going down.

When Kap knelt I didnt boycott the NFL when Nike chose to have Kap as a sponsor and ad campaign I didnt boycott them. But this is over the line, saying that the Betsy Ross US flag is offensive and would distract from the 4th of July holiday is just idiotic. I will never purchase another nike product again.

You know, every time I hope that conservatives will finally go after companies like Nike for child labor, they instead continue to disappointment me with being upset over the football man who doesn't stand for the flag.

In a free country everyone should respect the symbols of the State at all times otherwise our propaganda machine will arbitrarily decide that you’re disrespecting the military and we’ll try to destroy your career and try to require a private company to make you stand, which is what freedom is all about, remember, we’re the freedom loving people that hate tyranny.

Respect the symbols of the almighty state or else... Freedom.

Look above. I just did go after Niki. There are dozens, maybe a couple hundred messages I've posted, raging against foreign child slave labor sweatshops that are essentially surrogate slaves for Americans. If slaves can not be directly owned to make us cheap products at their suffering, then we will use foreign task masters to manage slaves for our benefit.

Those who know me on the forum know that I am a very strong Trump supporter - and a strong supporter of tariffs to make such sweatshop foreign operations ones that we are not supporting.

Nike was raked over the coals for child labor years ago, even though it was sub contractors who actually used the kids.

I'm not saying NIKE was innocent, but at least they have a pro active stance on the against child labor these days.

China is running unsafe sweat shops still today and both the democrats and republicans are mum on the issue.

NIKI is again under fire for this. Children collapsing working in over 90 degree heat, for example.
 
Seems like there's always someone, or in this case, some company that just keeps picking at a scab. :roll:
