Transgender male competing with women

Re: Trans-Woman Wins NCAA Track Championship

Now there you might have a point.

But, then, shouldn't we also have categories for "raised in a deprived socioeconomic environment", "raised in a middle socioeconomic environment", and "raised in an enriched socioeconomic environment"?

After all, the category of the socioeconomic environment that a child is raised in has life-long effects on the child's performance and it wouldn't be fair to have someone who had been raised in an enriched socioeconomic environment and who had then "transitioned" to a deprived socioeconomic environment competing against those who had always been in that deprived socioeconomic environment - would it?

Well, thanks for a very well thought out reply.
