The soccer season 2018/2019 is in the books in a lot of competitions and the Rumor Mill has started up for every team to shore up their squads for the 2019/2020 season.

There are already players who have signed for other clubs but there are also a lot of rumors going around, so let us fill up the thread with soccer news.

Transfer Fact:

Barcelona have bought one of the best Ajax Players, Frenkie de Jong for about 86 million Euros.

Ain't gonna happen since Chelaski have a ban on them.

In fact this silly season and the next few could be heavily influenced by some English teams being banned from buying players.

Hell there is a good chance that City will be kicked out of th CL next season.

I could see Neres going to Germany or Italy though.

So far not an alarming set of transfers, but some interesting moves being made.

I am curious where Daniel Sturridge ends up.

Why just "future" though. I can't stand him no matter how many times he'll "return to himself".

I hear Madrid want to bring in Mbappe along with Hazard and Pogba.
Headlines in Europe right now are that Mbappe sent a transfer request to PSG people.

Also, Mendy is very close, although Lyon are making some problems.

Benzema was a beast last season... it was the rest of the team that sucked. Of course his age is becoming an issue, so "future" might be this year... who knows.

Hazard is all but confirmed... Pogba I doubt, and Mbappe will be expensive as hell.

Would not surprise me. Players are fleeing PSG at the moment.. or rumoured to be fleeing. Guessing the rebuilding of Real and Barca are seen as opportunities by many pros to become part of something real.

As they should. Lyon should suck out all the money as possible. Drain that Real bank account!

Ajax has just scored a great new player, they have bought Quincy Promes

This could be a very useful player. Another player they have enticed to return to the Netherlands to hopefully go for another successful run in the Champions League.

Buffon back at JUVE. Juve for CL winners!!

De Ligt to Juventus...he went for the money, but not a bad place to go. At least he did not go to the EPL and waste his talent.

Waste his talent in the biggest league in the world....

Well yes, because it is damn rare that an 18-19 year old gets to start regularly in the EPL. Its been a problem for decades in the EPL. The EPL is where talent goes to die and dont even try to deny it, since much of the young English talent is being brought up in Germany and elsewhere these days. This view is based on him joining one of the big 6.. had he joined a middle table team, then maybe.. but no way would that be good enough for him.

Lets be honest he was starting, from what I hear he had his sights on United but they didn't make the champs lg.

He had insane wage requirements, and his corrupt agent wanted an insane amount of money as well. Very few teams could meet that and even fewer would want to meet it. For some reason Juve found the money and were willing to pay it. The funny or sad part, is that Man U could really use a quality center back..
