Nfl 2019

How exactly does Jimmy Johnson deserve a spot in the Hall of Fame? He inherited a lot of talent at Dallas and did a good enough job of coaching. Not knocking him as a coach, but how does 8 years as a coach with a winning percentage of .550 and .563 equal 'Hall of Fame?

When everyone is special...no one is special. On that list of coaches, Johnson is probably one of the least deserving.

Again...Im not saying he is a bad coach...just that he didnt have a HoF career.

I guess finding receivers doesn't equate to winning championships though...........................right CJ :lamo

Tomlin has ruined the Steelers with his diva filled locker room. :doh

Not so much in this decade - being gifted with a **** load of bad teams in your division and cheating seems to be the winning championships formulae du jour. But even with those two aces, the Cheatriots ignobly flamed out.

I'd remind you, however, that the Steelers have six championships and are the class team of the league - nothing to laugh at.

And Tomlin was being touted as a coach of the year candidate for his handling of his injury ravaged team this year - the sainted Belichick, not so much. And Belichick could cope with Antonio Brown for one game before he needed escape.

You're going to have to try a little harder with your attempts at talking trash.

Funny, if the Steelers are so good and plugging in players, why haven't they won a Super Bowl since 2008? It is has been 12 years.

Just sayin'.........

Steelers haven't been gifted with a division title at the start of every season - just saying. And as was proven once again this year, the year of Brady stink, the Cheatriots can't win unless they have home field and a bye, their division gifted formulae for winning. Let's remember this year that the Cheatriots played five teams with winning records when they played and they lost three of those games only beating the Bills twice, coincidentally a team in their own weak division. When you're pretty much gifted 5 or 6 wins at the start of every season, and your division stinks, it's pretty easy to knock off a dozen wins every year and waltz into the playoffs as a top seed.

Steelers have had good, competitive teams, but have had a lot of significant injuries at bad times - not an excuse, just a fact. The injury to Ryan Shazier late in 2017 was a major setback for the Steelers young and developing defense. It's only been this year that the defense has shown the type of progress expected years ago. But with the injuries on offense, they haven't yet had a full team to push ahead in a difficult division.

Pat's winning percentage outside the AFC East division was as high, or higher against every division in the NFL.

No team can match BB & Brady's record outside of their own division.

Field Yates debunks the myth that the Patriots only benefit from a weak AFC East

Another disappointing season for the Seahawks. You have to start to wonder how much longer are they going to roll with Pete Carroll? They haven't really threatened to get back to the SB since the infamous Butler interception and Wilson turns 32 this year. Might be time to try something new while you still have Russell Wilson in his prime.

Could be I don't watch the Hawks enough, but when I do watch them it seems like it always the same things... There's a lot of pushing and shoving after plays and they take a ton of bad, stupid penalties. In other words they seem damn undisciplined.

That falls on Carroll. So yeah, it might be time for him to go.

Say what you want about the Steelers but them getting rid of Brown and Bell was a smart move. Bell's time is over and Brown obviously has major problems and if not addressed will end up in jail.

"Latest disturbing Antonio Brown video is signal that shouldn't be ignored and treated as AB being AB"

A healthy person doesn’t say what Antonio Brown said on Monday, not in front of the children he claims to love. A healthy person doesn’t send it out to the world so people can see it.

Physically, he may be everything he’s always been, a world class athlete in nearly every measurable.

There is more to health than physical though, and if non-professionals who witnessed this outburst can see obvious problems, can see the sadness, someone has to get him to a real doctor.

Whether he realizes it or not, Antonio Brown is calling out for help. With every regrettable incident, the question increasingly becomes, can anyone get it to him?

I never claimed the Cheatriots were a bad team - I claimed, accurately, that the Cheatriots have benefitted the past two decades from playing in the worst division in the NFL and annually being gifted 5 or 6 division wins per season. They've got their Super Bowls and nobody can take that away from them.

You should be comforted though by the fact that your Cheatriots are now joined by the Cheatstros in Houston as teams discredited by their need to flout the rules in order to win. And you should be further comforted that in a few days the Cheatriots fellow New Englanders, the Cheatsox will also be tainted by their need to flout the rules in order to win. Such a proud cheatstory to be part of.

What the people up in snowblower land, aka Canada, think of the Patriots is completely irrelevant.

Funny - I'll bet you get more snow in the average year than I get here in Toronto. But then, we've never considered the average resident of Boston to be that well informed.

Haven't you got a Hockey Night in Canada to worry about?

I've actually visited Boston, a city that smelled like a giant fart, giving validity to it being named Beantown. Ever been to Toronto or are you like many other Americans who wallow in their insular ignorance?

He hung out with cocaine fueled football players for four years. That's an undergrad degree, not hall of fame.

Boston? The city full of some of the most illustrious school's in the world?A great history, amazing food/beer scene, a booming tech industry and is currently in the top 5 most expensive cities to live in the US?

Toronto is also a lovely city.

Rumour is that Brady cleaned out his Gillette stadium family suite before the move to his new home in Connecticut.

You can say hi to Meaghan Markle when she moves to Toronto. America certainly does not want her back.

Toronto is an okay city but it is nowhere as beautiful or amazing as some cities are in the USA.

for me vancouver is the most livable city in north america

that the best weed in the world can be found there is just another plus

back to the NFL topic ... hate to see Kuechly retire but for his sake i am glad he did. he took too many shots to the head. maybe he can still enjoy much of his health in retirement

Jason Garrett to the NY Giants as offensive coordinator...

Going to be interesting with a 38 year old 1st time coach and Garrett looking over Judge's shoulder...

I won't be enough. Without a healthy offensive and defensive line Lynch won't make that much of a difference.

It will be a KC/SFO superbowl in February.

I'm a genius :)
