caused me to recall the OP of this thread:
Gardner Minshew might be better.

God the Patriots are so boring.
And what are the Steelers? Exciting? How come they can't score yet?
Mr. Off the Cliff in the first part of this match has thrown for 2 touchdowns and 226 passing yards. Andy Dalton so far has the most yards today with 418 yards and 2 touchdowns.
If the Patriots keep on performing like they did, Brady might get way past 400 yards and possibly score as much as 4 TD's. And that is without Gronk who no longer is with the team and tonight due to injuries without N'Keal Harry, Demaryius Thomas and Damien Harris.
AND!!! without their new best and biggest weapon, Antonio Brown. Just imagine later in the season a team that can depend on the Wide Receiving plays made by Antonio Brown, Edelman, Thomas, Dorsett, Gordon and a rookie class of Jakobi Meyers, Gunner Olszewski and N'Keal Harry. On top of that a running back group lead by Michel, White, Develin, Burkhead, Harris and Bolden.
Sorry, but that sounds like a gigantic massive threat to any defense in the NFL this year.
And the Patriots so far have allowed no score even though Kyle van Oy is not there (hope his wife delivers a nice and healthy baby) and Joejuan Williams. Plus some other defensive players.
If, and I am not counting on it, Gronk get's itchy feet near the playoffs, and wants to play for the last 4 regular season games and the playoff games, than I am pretty sure there are not a lot of teams that could stand tall and defeat that much talent.
He also has a noodle arm that no longer can hit the side of a barn.
Some Steelers fan on this forum said AB would have trouble fitting in with the Patriots offense and only would be able to command double teams. I am fine with that. The Chiefs and Rams couldn't stop little Julian Edelman. So if teams want to double AB, that will leave Edelman WIDE open.

I am telling you, if Brady does not get injured we will have to have all those Brady haters eating crow again, for the umpteenth time. Because look at that, even without Brown they just went up to 27-3 against their long time rival Steelers. With one and a half quarters to go, Brady has 272 yards and 3 touchdowns. This is going swimmingly. Ooh Max Kellerman? Are you watching? How's that cliff doing?
And you know who's blood will be boiling today, Mr. Rob Parker. Mr. I hate the Patriots himself.
Kyler Murray had himself a 4th qtr.
15-of-19 passes for 154 yards and 2 TDs.
lol! Brady threw another bomb to Josh Gordon. 43 yards.
Pretty embarrassing to be a Steelers fan after that sorry display last night.
Not the Steelers I've known over the years - looked unprepared, disinterested, conservative, cautious, uninspired, and every other term one could use to describe a team that pretty much didn't show up - very unprofessional - and whomever is calling plays on offense needs a smack upside the head to wake him up.
Cheatriots fans have every right to gloat after that game - Cheatriots, on offense, looked crisp, well prepared, inventive, imaginative, and with a few possession exceptions, looked to be toying with a very pedestrian Steelers defense. On defense, the Cheatriots looked inspired and determined.
One team looked proud to be on the field - not my team - and the other team just went through the motions.
As I said above about Cleveland - one game doesn't make a season - but if last night is an indication of what the Steelers plan to bring to the field each week, it's going to be a very long season for Steeler fans.
When the score was 20-0 in the 3rd quarter and the Steelers right at the end zone went for a field goal on the fourth down is when I turned the game off. There was no need to watch the carnage any longer.

The NFC North is going to be hard fought this season.
Packers D looks far better than I anticipated, the bears are just as good as last year, and the Vikings just dominated yesterday. You could not ask for a better first quarter start of the season.
I really believe my Vikings will be the team to beat...

When it was 10 - 0 in the second quarter, and a bad spot left the Steelers 4th and inches close to mid-field and they decided not to go for it, I knew the game was a lost cause - that's not Steelers' football. Likewise, when they had second and 2 also near mid-field, and they ran two runs up the middle for basically nothing and then punted, that was also indicative of the Steelers not being in the game at all.
A number of teams yesterday were down double digits and didn't give up - some fought back to win, some fought back and fell just short, but they didn't bail - Steelers bailed and that's disgraceful in my book.
