Nfl 2019

And the Rams pull away.

No idea how bad Brees is hurt, but it doesn't look good.

Kind of hope they put Taysom Hill in. Get some reps at the very least.

And the Rams seal it with a Cooper Kupp play.

I hope Brees isn't hurt too bad.

Pat McAfee

"Folks thinkin (Adam) Vinatieri’s retiring.. I sent a text, haven’t gotten a response yet but, I do know that the game’ll miss him if that’s the case.

In a game that revolves around points, to have the most, is a pretty legendary thing.. Just a kid from South Dakota

It was an honor "

Two teams go for two at the end of game — JAX missed it and DEN made it — then Bears win with one second to go down by one

Loss in LA, plus Brees, Smith, and Peat injured as well.

Rough day.

Fat Ben Falls
Drew Brees Falls

And the "old" man Tom Brady is the king of the NFL.

But Bucky, he is about to fall of the cliff, just ask Kellerman and Rob Parker. These will be the only two matches he will win if I am supposed to believe those 2 :lamo

The officiating has just got so bad that the league HAS to doi something. Missed calls occasionally..sure, but these calls are costing teams games.

Cant for the life of me tell how Chubbs hit on Trubisky was roughing. Ridiculous.

And I get it...it happens to everyone and its Denver's turn in the bull chute. Still.

Da Bears just about salvaged their season with that win. Cant say Im happy about Trubisky, but at least the team finally has a kicker and still has a good D.

Don't know why they aren't utilizing Cohen more like last year.

Brees out 6 weeks. More than likely ends any hopes for a post season run.

NFC South sucks. Who can top NO? Tampa Bay? Be real. Even without Brees for half the season that team will be no worse than 4-4, plenty good enough to make a late run.

Everyone gets bad calls except the Patriots. They just get red carpet treatment straight to the SB, most every year since 2001.

Cowboys, Ravens, Chiefs, Rams, Pats...all pretty solid right now. Little doubt those teams will be around come January.

Unknowns: Packers, Hawks, 49'ers, BILLS?

Tanking early: Miami

Deflate gate, for example, was red carpet treatment? What's this thing you have against the Pats? IMO, the red carpet treatment you are referring to with the Pats is the American East. Or are the Jets, for example, (or fins, or bills...or) gonna be good this year?

Sure. It has nothing to do with their coaching/playing/skills/ability.

I ask myself the same question, but with this coach, I dunno what he plans to do...

The season has barely started and I think its far too premature for predictions right now.

Give Bridgewater a couple of weeks to get up to speed. He's not Brees but he was a damn good QB before that injury. He hasn't played much since then, but give him a few weeks and he might surprise people.

BTW the worst part of the Rothlesburger being out for the year injury IMO isn't that it means this year is shot. IMO it means the Steelers brass has an excuse to give Tomlin another year or 2...

Take this from someone who's wanted Tomlin fired 3-4 years ago.

This isnt a rah rah Patriots comment...but it IS what separates them from everyone else. The Patriots philosophy is no matter who you are...if you go down...next man up. When Brady was out Garrapalo stepped in flawlessly. They prep that way, train that way, have expectations that that is what will happen.

I agree. I'm not sure if you are addressing what I said. Bridgewater might be the next up. He might step in. We'll see.

Brady and Belichick are great. I'm not disputing that. But an advantage they've had is that they are in a TERRIBLE division. That gives them all year to prep for the playoffs.

The NFC South is also weak. That might give Bridgewater and the Saints some breathing room.

I wouldn’t be shocked if Big Ben retired.
