2019 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament

Not sure yet. At the moment I favor Gonzaga, Virginia, Duke and Kentucky, but that's too chalk to be fun.

I’m thinking depending on brackets, could be Duke, Tennessee, UNC and Virginia. Haven’t seen much of Gonzaga.

I have always enjoyed the selection Sunday show and the enthusiasm of the lower ranked teams.

Only team to beat a fully healthy Duke team. Only two losses against top 5 teams with 2 of the Zags top 7 players hurt. One's back and the other should be by tournament time. They play in a weak conference, but just set the record margin of victory throughout a conference season, surpassing what they did in 2017 when they went to the championship game.

I went there, so I'm incredibly biased. But I think they're the top team this year.

Gonzaga lost to who last night? That's going to throw a monkey wrench into the brackets.

I think the Zags will still be #1 in the West.

IDK...They are in a weak conference, and then losing to a conference opponent in their Tournament? I can see 3 ACC teams as #1's, but I doubt the committee will do that so maybe Michigan State looks more attractive as the West's # 1 seed. Zags record against power teams is pretty weak.

Losing last night doesn't look good.

Saint Mary's is a top 30 team in most metrics. Michigan St. has losses to Indiana twice and Illinois. MSU has better wins, (although not the best win overall), but their losses are more and far worse. Gonzaga continues to outstrip MSU in every efficiency metric, including a significant advantage the NCAA's new NET rating that replaced the RPI. I am very confident the Zags are a better team overall and fairly confident they still have a better resume for a 1 seed.

NC State comes back from 18 down and goes up by 4... should be a good ending

The ACC deserves 3 #1 seeds but they will only get two. SEc deserves one and will get it.

Gonzaga deserves no #1 seed but will still get it.

Gonzaga deserves it. They have the best win of anyone in the country and played through their schedule the way a top 4 team would play through it. And every single efficiency metric backs them up as a top 4 team.

I agree with Real on this. Zags are a good team, but they don't deserve a #1. I see them as a major team in a minor conference.

They beat who's in front of them, and that's all that should be asked of them. But they are not an ACC or SEC type team. They have a chance to prove me wrong this month... lol

Zags beat Duke, and MSU lost twice to Indiana.

If they played in the ACC, how many losses do they have? And with all those losses, they are not a 1 seed.

They are VT or FSU level.

You can't lose to St Mary in the conference championship game and expect a #1 seed.
