The Yankees are now in the club.

It looks like we are looking at a Yankees Dodgers WS. If The Dodgers lose, that will be 3 straight WS losses. Could be the Bills of MLB.

St Louis sees hope and may seize the opportunity.

Yanks have the Rays less than 5 back, but I doubt that will turn into an actual race. The rest of the league is already a joke: LA up 13! wtf?
Mlb attendance is down, even the Red Sox who won the WS last year saw a decline.

Although it is impressive what the Rays and Twins are doing.

Twins, Houston and Dodgers would be huge stories if anyone really cared about the baesbal anymore.

IMO, BB does not translate well to TV. It's a radio sport or go the the game activity. Watching it on TV is just an opportunity for napping.

BTW: did he Red Sox win it last year? I totally blanked that out.

We'll have to disagree, although I agree baseball is the best sport to see in person.

Especially if you attend a game at Coors Field and get a seat facing west looking towards the Rocky Mountains. The best is when the sun is setting. The views are absolutely stunning.

I'd like to see that sometime. Best in my experience is in San Francisco.

    10 guys on the field
    7 stand around
    1 squats
2 are engaged in an epic battle between a man hurling 100-mile per hour fastballs and a guy with a bat.

Seriously, how many hours of that can the mind stand before it becomes bored to tears?

I can watch it every day, for hours. Those seven guys don't "stand around." They are moved and repositioned constantly, depending on the pitcher, hitter and game situation. And when there are runners on base it becomes like 3D chess. It is the best sport.
