Canelo vs GGG

Well it would have been nice to watch but didn't feel like paying $84 to watch it at home.

Thanks to everyone who joined in reporting here.

It is was a really good fight, you could tell neither fighter wanted it to go to a decision as both early on were headhunting. Canelo didn't start going for the body until the mid rounds.

I've always wanted to see a pro fighter come out from the start and deliver body punches repeatedly. Three or four rounds of pummeling the body and the opponent's arms are coming down to protect that area and then slip in a few head shots.

Body punches takes a major toll on a normal human being but these two fighters are not normal. Unbelievable toughness.

That would be a little dangerous as going for the body has tendency to expose your head, doing so early and often could lead to you being asleep by the end of the round.

Of course you have to mix in a few opportunities at the head. But if the opponent is getting hard shots to the side where are his arms going to be? Am of the school that take the body and the head follows.
