I'm An Eagles Fan And I Believe President Trump Did The Right Thing

If it was a team event I think they should have gone. My boss calls a meeting or requires we go to an event as long as he is paying I have to go. Publicity is a major part of being a ball player. I have talked to many major league players and they have to go to all kinds of publicity events they don't care for or believe in but it is part of the job. It looks like both the Eagles and Trump are irresponsible children unable to fulfil commitments. A bunch of petty punks.

I dont care that they didnt go. I suspect Trump should probably expect that. if he is smart he will just skip the WH meetings in the future. There is no need to do it for people that dont see it as an honor.
 
The Philadelphia Eagles Football Team was invited to the White House. Unfortunately, only a small number of players decided to come, and we canceled the event. Staying in the Locker Room for the playing of our National Anthem is as disrespectful to our country as kneeling. Sorry!

I think it crass to plan to host a social event, invite others and then cancel it and/or uninvite those who accepted the invitation because some of the folks whom one invited declined the invitation.
 
I didn't think I could be any more proud of my Eagles after they won the Super Bowl. I was wrong.

The Patriots got to meet President George W. Bush Bush, Obama, and Trump. It is a safe bet they will get to meet president Pence as well.
