The Seattle Seahawks have postponed a scheduled workout for quarterback Colin Kaepernick until they know more about his stance on matters related to the national anthem, his collusion lawsuit against the NFL and his other stances against social injustice, several sources informed of the situation told NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport on Thursday.

The Seahawks scheduled the workout two weeks ago but decided to postpone at the last minute after not having a clear understanding on how the former San Francisco 49ers signal-caller would proceed on those matters, according to Rapoport.

Kaepernick's time in the NFL is OVER.
 
He isn’t one of the greatest but he is certainly good enough to play in the NFL. And I respect the political stand he has taken. But I completely sympathize with owners not wanting to deal with the drama. In the end professional football is a business and they don’t want to hold on to people who are bad for business.
 
Please JUST SAY NO....the Seahawks have more than enough problems already.

He was good enough under Harbaugh's system but he was never a 'good' quarterback. He took a massive talent nosedive when Harbaugh left the 49ers. He wasnt even good enough to win the starting job on a team with a fairly weak QB field.

I tend to buy what some of the NFL players have said about him. His talent isnt strong enough for a team to buy into his troubles.

I think that is the root of it. The amount of drama a team is willing to put up with is proportional to the skill and talent one brings to the table.

Good QB he was, for one season. He’s not interested in being an NFL QB, he’s interested in publicity.

I don't think he'll fit well in Canada - he doesn't support curling, and he thinks Labatts tastes like pee. Just sayin'. Oh, and he thinks the toonie is a stupid coin and the Queen is not cool.

None of that matters. Hell, I agree with most of that, especially the Queen is about the definition of uncool.
How's his mobility? NFL wants their QB's to drop back five or seven steps and stay in the pocket. Here, we have a bigger field and we want (don't always get) a quarterback who can roll out to the side.
 
The real question is why the Seahawks is giving Colin a chance to play ?
I'm surprised if any team would admit having Colin on their squad.
 
Meanwhile the 49ers keep a wife beater on their roster. What a time to be alive, I’m genuinely convinced in 20 years time there will be a statue of Colin K.
