[W:549] Nfl 2018

I think the term Bucky may have been searching for is “golden ticket”, but who the hell knows what Bucky was searching for?

Browns v Jets tonight.

Pretty aggressive defense goes against potential rookie of the year QB.

I expect low scoring, horrible offense tonight.

If the Browns dont win tonight, everyone on the team including the cheerleaders should get fired.

Im pretty sure he meant to say it...

Come on cleveland defense!!!

BUD LIGHT COOLERS AUTOMATICALLY UNLOCK!!!! Beer is on the house!!!

Skip Bayless nailed it on Twitter:

Tyrod is solid pro QB and strong, quiet leader. Baker Mayfield is a lightning-rod playmaker with a stronger arm and contagious charisma.

I've long been a supporter and defender of Hue Jackson but I lost some respect for him when he foolishly started Tyrod Taylor over Baker Mayfield, then called Baker into his office for "Hard Knocks" and congratulated him on winning backup QB over Drew Stanton. Just pathetic.

:rock:clap::applaud

Congratulations Cleveland Browns, you won and have proven to not be the same team of the last 2 seasons. Excellent work from that team and the management to dig them out of the whole they seemed to live in. Now onwards and upwards, up to win number 2.

Knowing Hue Jackson he will put back Taylor in the starting lineup over shake and baker.

I think he should be fired regardless. The guy looks in over his head as a head coach.

Yeah that was weird. Jackson told Baker that he would be starting the season but then all of a sudden brings in Tyrod and starts him despite TT not having been through minicamp or OTAs to learn the offense. Seems to me Hue Jackson wants to lose.

Once enough tape is recorded showing Baker's habits and schemes, he'll be a lot easier to control. Size matters in the NFL. But, for now, Go Browns!

There's no doubt the Browns defense looks a hell of a lot better this year then in past years.

And I got to see much more of Baker before I put him in the HoF, after Game 1 everyone here in NY had Sam as the next Joe Namath. Sam's bloom has come off that rose a little since then.. Fans love to jump the gun.

Anyway it's the Jets being the Jets. 1 stupid penalty after another.

People are getting WAY ahead of themselves with Baker. Dont forget the ball he threw that was dropped by the Jets that would have killed the drive and probably the comeback. Mayfield forces the ball. He plays fast. And...he was playing the Jets. So what if the kick TT to the curb and start Mayfield and he bombs?

no...this is not the Browns superbowl season. If they are smart...Taylor is still the starting QB and Mayfield goes back to the clipboard as much as possible this year.

clearly mayfield is the better QB. he brought the team back from a 14-3 deficit in a half, plus
why bench the better player?

This was the birth of a nation - a Baker nation.

He's the real deal. Reminds me of A more athletic Drew Brees.

It's one half of one game; a game which no one has yet to review tape on. He's not the first rookie QB to look great for a half, cuz.

It depends...do you want a long term potentially really good QB or do you want another Tim Tebow?

I totally agree. Mayfield is not Tom Brady yet. TT should keep his job.

Tyrod will probably get hurt again, giving Baker plenty of opportunity to work his way into the starting QB role.

Even Tom Brady rode the pine behind Drew Bledsoe...that used to be the standard.

Many a potentially great QB has been lost by being thrust into a role too soon. And I doubt Johnny Manziel needs another American QB bust as a competitor in Canada these days.

How many of BM’s balls were dropped?

No idea. I've only seen his completions and that one pass where he threw it to Manti Teʻo's gf in the back of the end zone.

Just checked E$PN — they have him 17 for 23 with 3 dropped balls
