Sorry folks, this sports story comes with a touch of politics in it...

Looks like the commercials are all going to flip from Papa John's to Pizza Hut.

Peyton Manning Sells Stake in Papa John's Locations, Remains Spokesperson

On Feb. 28, the NFL announced the change from Papa John's to Pizza Hut as its pizza sponsor.

I still don't know why Peyton decided to divest from Papa John's. Would like to know that backstory.

Pizza Hut sucks. Papa John's far superior. This is a lose - lose.

I live in the Northeast, they both suck balls. Every two blocks up here is what might as well be a nationally renowned pizza place.

Pizza Hut uses canned mushrooms, John's uses fresh. No one wants canned mushrooms.

Woah! That's interesting. I wonder what happened there.

Well ever since trump started attacking the NFL, John Schnatter seemed to be siding with trump. I wonder if that split Peyton from John?

I can't comment on pizza hut because i haven't had them in years and dont recall how good/bad it was. I know papa john's sucks but I do like their garlic butter. But there are no papa john's in Santa Fe so I don't eat that either.

Could be. Manning is a Republican, but he's a Bush Republican like me. Not a Trump Republican, whatever the hell that even is anyway.

And I'm a Teddy Roosevelt, Eisenhower republican.

They both still suck balls up here.

I can see your plight though. having been to florida, all the pizza places there suck balls. So it's a matter of finding the least ball-sucking pizza.

I would too. There will be a hit from the change hes banking on a drop.

The difference is huge. I don't like canned mushrooms except for very limited things.

So, the NFL can pick a pizza place in days but it's been 7 years now and they still don't know what a catch is. smh

Pizza Hut and Papa Johns suck.

Dominos is better than either of them. Though if I have pizza, I tend to just make it myself.

This is because you live in colorado. Dominos is ****

Living in Colorado has nothing to do with it. Ever since Dominos revamped itself, it has become the better of the fast food pizza joints.

Funny...........

Truth though is they havent picked a pizza place yet.

They have. It's in the OP story.

On Feb. 28, the NFL announced the change from Papa John's to Pizza Hut as its pizza sponsor.

"We know many of our fans enjoy pizza while watching NFL games, and we are thrilled to have Pizza Hut, an industry leader and one of America's favorite brands, as an official league sponsor," commissioner Roger Goodell said.

"With a focus on family, friends and fun, Pizza Hut has the creativity we are looking for in a partner, and we look forward to working together with them to make the at-home NFL experience more exciting than ever for our fans."

wtf makes pizza hut more focussed on "family" than any other pizza joint I'd like to know. Seems like a throw-away line that just sounds nice. If "Family" is the backdrop for signing on with a pizza chain they should've hooked up with Godfather pizza.
