So much for the run for President, lol!

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban was solely responsible for the decision to keep former Mavs.com reporter Earl K. Sneed on staff after two separate domestic violence incidents, telling ESPN on Wednesday that it was a "horrible mistake in hindsight."

Sneed was fired this week in advance of Sports Illustrated publishing an investigative story about a culture of misogyny and predatory sexual behavior within the Mavericks organization. Cuban said he was not aware of "gruesome details" of a 2011 domestic dispute that resulted in Sneed being arrested at the Mavericks' office until contacted by Sports Illustrated this week.

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban says he's to blame for keeping former employee

Dallas (AP) -- The NBA fined outspoken Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban $600,000 on Wednesday for comments about tanking during a podcast with Hall of Famer Julius Erving.

Commissioner Adam Silver said the fine was for "public statements detrimental to the NBA." The league said the podcast with Erving was posted Sunday, the day the All-Star game was played in Los Angeles.

An incompetent owner that instead of focusing on his business, took too much time attacking Trump and going on TV for interviews.

You don't "step down" as owner. geesh.

The NBA should take the team away from Mark Cuban. He has admitted to losing games on purpose and didn't do anything when a Mavs reporter was beating up women.

I agree,

"Should the NBA take the Mavs away from Mark Cuban" would have been a much better thread title.

...still remains an upgrade to Trump in every respect, starting with the fact that he could humble himself actually say he made a mistake. (that is not an endorsement.... )

That it needs to be explained to him...

Cuban is anything but an incompetent owner. I hope he runs. Trump will go down.

A former employee at the American Airlines Center in Dallas has filed a petition seeking documents from the Mavericks and to depose owner Mark Cuban in consideration of a lawsuit she might bring for racial discrimination.

Michelle Newsome filed the petition in Dallas County Court on Thursday alleging that Cuban tried to “sweep under the rug” a 2011 incident at American Airlines Center that a noose was found in the IT closet across from Cuban’s suite.

Cuban has been the best thing to ever happen to the Mavs. They should have let him buy the Rangers and they would have had a tittle too.

Losing games on purpose is not against the rules...
