The game is indoors and they've moved some pre-screening to the Mall of America. Not sure how that part will work, but ok.

Interstingly, US Bank Stadium is on the same site as the old Metrodome, which it replaced. The Metrodome replaced Metropolitan Stadium, and that site is where the Mall is now.

It will also be slightly warmer here in the metro than down in Rochester. Probably by about 20 degrees.

My sister told me they are pre screening, before you board the train and are then dropped off in a previously secured area, and the parking is free.

Sounds like tbe way to go.

Personally I would rather see minis 20 then plus 100 any day, I was just warning people who aren't used to our weather up here...

Yeah I grew up in MN and have been to all you mentioned ( although I would rather go to Afghanistan then step foot in that mall again).

I have not been in tbe new one but drove by several times as it was going up.

It looks amazing!!!

80 degrees here in sunny Phoenix. Super Bowls in frozen wastelands are not cool.

I don't know if this is still true but many years ago the average temp In Minneapolis was ten degrees colder than anchorage Alaska.

I disagree, they are VERY COOL!!! :) :) :)

We just had the biggest luxury car auction in the nation and this week we have one of the biggest golf tournaments. A few more weeks and we have half of the MLB teams here for spring training. Chamber of Commerce weather.

Minneapolis is a nice place with great people and incredibly great infrastructure and social infrastructure, but I have no desire to visit when it is cold as Mars.

To each their own.

I've been to Phoenix in August. I would rather spend an entire winter in MN/WI than one day in the desert again.

That is why we have swimming pools, and San Diego.....:lamo

Same here. Hate that mall. I can't afford to go to the stadium.

Looks like the two have caught up:

Anchorage's climate is influenced by the nearby Pacific Ocean (less cold in winter) but also by its extreme fluctuation in the number of daylight hours depending on the time of the year (more cold in winter).

I've rode over 70 miles in the last 4 days on my bike. 80 degrees of perfection every day.

I hate you :2razz: ............

Well, to be fair, I have an E-Bike, it really assists me with the hills. I peddle a lot, but its a big heavy bike. My GF and I basically did a day long pub crawl through old town Scottsdale all day yesterday, lots of fun. (she has a real bike, but she is a biking animal, she did 45 miles on Saturday)
