black monday

The league will study him and solve what he is doing now. If he adds new tricks to his bag, he'll be ok. If he just comes back next year doing what he did this year....he'll have a Dak like season.

Losing Elliot down the stretch was a big factor in Dak’s game, imo.

John needs to suit up again. The Broncos problem is they need a QB. Elway has done a good job in Denver. But lately his choice of QB's is lacking.

Elway’s tweet sounds positively Trumpian!

Clearly the hardest position in Football to fill. The 85 Bears, perhaps the greatest Defense of the era and arguably the best RB of all time, was unable to return to the Super Bowl for one reason: no QB. But, yet, SF, with mediocre D and a modest RB made multiple trips to the big game because they had Joe Montana.

I think Coach Walsh had a lot to do with Montana's success, much like BB and Brady.

Marino could have been the GOAT for all we know, but he had a stubborn head coach who was stuck in the 1960's style of play.

Bruce Arians retires.

Good and bad with the Browns lost to the Steelers.

The Good for the Browns----The Steelers pretty much played all of their defensive starters. And the Browns pushed the Steelers D around, in Pittsburgh. Of course this could be looked at as how bad the Steelers D is, not how good the Browns O looked.

The bad for the Browns----The Steelers played their 2nd and 3rd sting offense and the Browns still loss.
The Pittsburgh Steelers better get their backfield straight and stop blowing assignments. As a defensive back leaves his coverage this is when the QB strikes for yardage or a possible TD.
Stick to your man I say or else pull up a chair and watch the Super Bowl at home on television.

The Steelers usually play zone D. That works against some, but not all. A zone against Brady is suicide. Problem is after playing a zone all year it's tough to change and play man to man for a game or 2. Last time Pitt played the Pats they did play man to man, but they still lost. If it comes down to Pitt vs NE in the championship game I don't see the Steelers winning, no matter what D they play. Because as you said, the Steelers D backfield is full of holes.

They really need to cut Dez Bryant, who isn't worth his contract and is a bad influence on Dez and Zeke.

With such slow receivers in Jason Witten, and Cole Beasley, they need to add speed at receiver.

I don't have grammaly on my chrome, only on my explorer.

No doubt Reverand Falwell is very proud that one of his graduates from his "esteemed" University relies on assistance to discern between their and there. :lamo

Are you saying there wasn't talk about him retiring?

He has never said anything about retiring. He didn't initiate any rumors. And he quickly and resolutely denied it. I wouldn't blame you for wanting him to retire, but PC is like a little kid. He's not going anywhere. Put that in the bank.

I didn't say he did. All I said is there was talk he was going to retire and there was.
