I like the fire shown by Rob Manfred. You would near see this type of passion from Roger the Clown or Adam Silver.

Dan Le Batard is a joke. He needs to understand his team made a good trade! The Marlins have 2 WS in their young history. That's a lot better than a lot of other teams!

Really you think the Yankees got the worse end of the trade?

It was a fire sale by a poor owner who doesn’t want to go bankrupt. What happened with the Marlins shows exactly everything that is wrong with baseball. How exactly does someone worth $180 million lead up a $1.3 billion dollar purchase of a team with no fan base and that hemorrhages money.

I think it was a good trade for both teams.

The Marlins weren't winning. They are years behind teams like the Dodgers, Cubs, and Nationals, even with Stanton.

Trust the process. The Marlins franchise has as many WS rings as the Mets. They have more than the Astros and Blue Jays.

The marlins have only made the playoffs 2 times in 25 years and it has been 14 years since they have made the playoffs. Don’t act like they are a super successful franchise.

I see the Rangers, Orioles, and Mariners have bloated payrolls. How many WS rings do those 3 teams have combined?

Remember, the Mets ownership was on the verge of selling a stake of their ownership to Donald Trump a few years ago due to losing so much money.

The Dodgers were getting loans from FOX to run that franchise because they were on the verge of bankruptcy.

I am not saying the Marlins are a success, but they are hardly a laughing stock.

The marlins have been a laughing stock for a long time and this latest set of moves has only cemented that idea

I would take the Marlins ownership over The Mariners and Orioles... .easily.
